After getting Porsche pushed out the door, I was so tired of this act I had to put on for my brother. I felt like I needed to make everything okay for him when all I wanted to do was scream and throw things. I was the one hurt and couldn't remember a thing. And it's this new person they throw on me so they could run away from the situation. This Kim person hates me. From what I could tell, I did something to him. I just wanted to be left alone. I'm so tired. I just want to sleep my life away. I don't think I want to remember my life from before.

I made some calls and worked on some paperwork. I went up to Porchay's room to check on him. He was sleeping. I couldn't help but look at him. Chay looked so sweet and peaceful. I looked away, but I looked back at him. How could this be the same person from before? Before, he was horrible to be around. I knew if I stayed here with him, I would get in trouble, and he would get away with everything. I shook my head and turned to leave. Something caught my arm and stopped me. I turned back, and Porchay was holding my arm.

"Porchay?"

He shook his head. I shook my head.

"I mean, Chay. What's wrong?"
"I'm sorry if I was mean to you before. I don't remember what I did to you."

I looked at Chay like I didn't know if I could believe him. I looked away.

"Chay, I don't know if I can believe you. You were very cunning before. I was the one in trouble all the time because of you."
"All the time?"
"Most of it."
"I'm sorry, Kim. Look, you don't have to stay. I'll just tell my brother..."
"NO."

Chay stopped and gave me a look. I saw the look of confusion.

"No, I'm staying, Chay."
"Have I said something like this before to you, Kim? It sounds familiar."
"Are you remembering something, Chay?"

Chay shook his head.

"No, it just feels like I heard it before. Deja vu or something like that."
"That's okay. It will all come back to you soon."
"I hope so."
"Are you hungry? I can order us something."

Chay nodded, then rolled over in bed.

"I'm going to stay here until it comes. I'm really tired."

"Okay, I'll let you know when it gets here."
"Okay."

I left Chay's room and shut the door.

"Deja vu or something, yeah, right. I don't believe anything you say, Porchay."
