The One (Lauren/You)

chapter one

"hurry up" I hurried my bestfriend ariana. yeah I know omg ariana grande, we've been friends since I was small.
"I'm going, I'm going" Ariana said calmly as she packed food in our big beach bag. we were going to the beach today since summer was already starting. "alright we're set." Ariana smiled as she grabbed the bag and put it on her shoulder. I grabbed the keys, I walked out the door as ari followed.
we drove off the the nearest beach.
we finally get here, it was beautiful there was small waves, it wasn't so crowded it was perfect. I stared at the beach for what seemed like forever.
Ariana waved her hand in front of my face. "hello you there bud?" ari giggled as I finally came back to reality. I helped ariana with some things we finally walked to the beach and found a really good spot under the palm trees.
"I'm gonna go ask that girl if I can the chair next to her" I said as I got up from the sand walking to the dark haired girl. "hi..?" I said shyly. she looked up as I was hypnotized by her green piercing eyes. "hello.." her raspy voice oh my god. "yeah um are you using this chair next to you" I asked the green eyed girl. "no you can take it" she smiled. "this is off topic but what's your name" she looked at me asking with a big smile. "my name is y/n.. you?" I asked blushing a bit. "my name is lauren" she said slightly smirking.
"well it's nice to meet you lauren, maybe I'll see you in the water" I winked at her as I dragged the chair back to me and ari's spot. I can hear lauren giggle, I smiled. shes very cute.

ariana smirked at me as she noticed my cheeks still pink. "I saw you talking to her hm?" I looked at ariana, she was still smirking. "yeah, she's pretty cute" I said blushing. "fuck I should have ask for her number" I say to myself but ariana heard. ariana walked up to the dark haired girl who's name was 'lauren'. I heard the conversation

"hi my friend thinks your really cute and she wants to know if she can have your number ? she came by earlier" I heard Ariana say to lauren, I faced palm myself I heard lauren giggle, I turned around as I saw lauren give a small piece of paper to ari. Ariana came back as she handed me the small paper with a smile "thank me later".

I opened it which revealed Lauren's number with a small note
"I think youre cute too btw :)"
I hear music coming from my side, I turn around to see ariana putting music on her speaker. "let's go swim" Ariana said taking off her clothes which revealed her mint green swimsuit. I did the same, I threw my clothes to the chair I asked lauren for. I turned to find the green eyed girl looking at me with a smirk. I smile as i feel my cheeks heating up. I turn around and start walking to the water with ariana

we get in and holy shit it was cold but of course ariana being ariana, she decided to push me in. I shivered
"I hate you". ariana laughed at my response "no you don't shush"
I swim around to get used to the coldness. I see lauren coming in, she was wearing a swimsuit that looked incredibly amazing on her. I stare for a second. "you alright ?" i hear her say
I snap back, "yeah you just look amazing " I say complimenting her
lauren blushed a bit as she got in.
we started to talk, her and ariana get well together. this lauren girl gives me so many butterflies ugh. "so tell me about yourself" I asked lauren with a small smile. "well I'm a singer and I'm in a girl group with 4 other girls, I think you guys should meet them tomorrow"
I looked at ariana with a smile when lauren said that. "yeah that would be amazing actually." I smiled at lauren which she gave me one back.
