The forest was dark when I opened my eyes. The leaves were mostly blocking out the sun so it was fairly dark. It was like the light was engulfed by the thick green clouds. It was self-evident that I was lost. The last thing I remember was walking home with my sister. When she asked if we could go get ice cream. I complied because it was sweltering out. After the ice cream, it all got fuzzy and I can't remember anymore. I heard movement in the darkness around me and I instantly became militant. The sound became louder and louder until a large creature emerged from the never-ending abyss. The creature stood there with a look of what one can only describe as righteousness. I started to back up. The beast was at least ten feet tall with sharp teeth and spikes on its back. When I backed up into a tree the creature looked desolate and almost scared of me. I realized it was hurt. What looked like its blood came out of its leg. I quickly ran up to it and pulled some vines from the trees. I quickly tied the vine around the leg to try to stop the bleeding. It was healing quickly so I had to work fast to clean it. It took me twenty minutes to fix it. When I was done the creature looked happier and lead me to an oasis. With that, I ended my bedtime store for my sister. She was knocked out cold so I turned off the lights and went to my room to sleep, myself.
