Chapter 13 - Past Friends

Jooice looked horrified and he turned his head to see a horrifying figure.
A black monster with purple horns and wings, a giant mouth for a face was behind him. Along with a dark-blue monster and with blue horns, wings, pupil and a black eye.

Scar watched Jooice scream in shock and seem to be lost in thoughts. The demon let out a snicker,

"I love Socks!"
Jooice finally announced.

Scar rolled her eyes, then called Karma and Fate over. Fate made a ball of light, the color of light blue, form out of air. She spun it in her hands, and began to make it larger.
The ball became the size of her eye, and then she launched it behind Jooice.
Luna screamed, and fell backwards as the ball hit her. Jooice was surprised that Luna had arrived.

Jooice quickly ran away, and heard the wing beats of the demons behind him.
He then got shoved, and then saw it was Tbh. Jooice fell on the ground, Tbh pinned him to the ground and called Scar over.
Tbh's outlines were still jagged, meaning he was still corrupted.
Jooice was then let go and then picked up by Scar. The demon looked deep into his X's, her pupils blue with swirls.

Then, because Tbh wasn't alone, Blaza burst out of the bushes and launched himself at Jooice. Scar moved out of the way, making Blaza go through a tree.
The light-orange outlined ghost growled, his jagged lines spiking up. Blaza ran at Scar this time, but she flew into the sky looking down at the corrupted soul.
Tbh called Blaza over, then the two just went back into the bushes and watched.
Jooice left faint, even though he couldn't faint, Scar then squirted out red liquid out of her sharp fingers.

Jooice then squirmed to try to get out of Scar's grasp, but he couldn't escape.
The red liquid then was soaked into his outlines, his lines became jagged.
Pain surged through him, his vision began to blur. Then, he was thrown to the ground and that's when it happened...

Laff came running from the bushes, and saw none other than corrupted Jooice.
Jooice was red-violet with jagged outlines.
The gas mask man stood in shock, then looked up to see Scar smiling at him. He quickly left the scene, hoping nothing bad would happen.

Woolfster was struggling to get up, he saw Socks laying on the ground next to him.
As the white ghost got up, he saw Luna laying on the ground not too far away.
He walked up to her, he saw blue blood gushing from her chest.
Her eyes were open, but her tears were light grey.
What does that mean?
Woolfster pondered.

"Woolf?"
Luna asked weakly.

"Yes, it's me."
Woolfster answered.
"What's wrong? What happened?"

"I feel close to death. "
Luna admitted.
"Fate, Fate shot a power ball at me.
Get to The Crystal Cave. Chip off a piece from The Life Crystal."

Woolfster nodded, he quickly flew to the cave, but it was far. It took about 20 minutes, but he had finally reached it.
When Woolf entered, the crystals were almost fully grown, but with a part of The Life Crystal taken, the growth of the crystals would be slowed down.
And the crew needed all the crystals to be grown in order to be alive again.
Woolfster pushed that aside,
It's for Luna.
Woolf reached the end of the cave, seeing The Life Crystal in front of him. He grabbed a sharp rock and hit the crystal, he chipped off a piece. The glow of light it gave off, was weakened.

Woolf flew out the cave, going back to Luna.
But when he reached her, Socks was up looking at Luna. The white ghost got on the ground and held the hard of the crystal.
Luna's eyes we're now dark grey, she slowly moved her hand to grab the crystal.
When she finally got it, she stabbed her chest with it. Luna let out a scream of pain, but then her eyes flooded with the color of gold. Life had seemed to surge through her!

"Thank you, Woolfster."
Luna rasped, getting up.
"Socks, you shouldn't have done that."

"Done what?"
Socks looked confused.

"He was possessed by Scar. "
Woolf informed.

"Oh-"
Luna looked unsurprised.
"Well, we need to grow The Crystals as fast as possible. Scar will take over this realm before we are out. "
Luna explained.
"So, I need everyone here, do you know where they are or hiding?"

"Uh- no. "
Socks admitted.
"They might be in The Twilight Forest though, we're the old party was held.
We usually hang out there. "

"Let's try that."

Socks lead the way to The Twilight Forest, Luna and Woolfster close behind him. Once it came into view, everyone was indeed there. Oof, TBVG, Muffin, Dino, and Meme.
They were having a big discussion it seemed, but Meme wasn't in it.

"Luna!"
Muffin looked surprised, but he flew over to her quickly.
"How's it been?"

"We have no time, y'all have been here wasting time here waiting."
Luna snapped.
"We need to take down Fate and Scar now.
Otherwise, you'll meet your final deaths a lot sooner."

Dino widened his eyes in shock of the news, but paid attention to the demon's announcement. Luna explained how Scar could destroy the world, this realm, and how Fate was her closest partner.

"So when Fate, Karma and Scar were..."
Luna gulped, pausing as remembering the horrible past.
"Humans, they were close.
And Karma isn't as hostile as the rest, so Fate and Scar need to be dealt with."

"How will we kill them?"
A voice asked in the crowd.

"We won't be killing them-"
Luna was interrupted.

"Then how will we be to take them down!?"
Dino asked, confusion in his face.
"Because without killing, they'll either just be weakened or still be around."

"Let her speak!"
Woolfster snapped.

"Thank you, Woolfster.
We should take them down by The Crystal Cave, it's where they are weak. "
Luna went on.
"Then we'll injure them, but we won't kill them. In a few weeks though,
your new hiding place will have to be The Crystal Cave. "
Luna took a breath.
"So you all will at least have a chance of winning a fight with them.
They have shown mercy toward you, but now they will go with their threats."

If only Karma didn't give it, this wouldn't have been happening.
