"Log entry: A-081963. My last hope of the decimation of Reed Richards has been pruned. A variant of Richards was on a warpath eliminating those of his own kind. His reasons were just and they lined up with my goals. I had once thought my achievement of time mastery would be obtainable without the need for interference this time. I have conquered more than one thousand worlds. Searching for the ones that would bring me my glory. I've nearly found them. I'm so close. Then... all of time... will be mine to control."
The man sits in his time chair watching Reed Richards and his family being swarmed by reporters the second they return home in modern-day. The man wears a baggy green uniform with purple gloves, boots, cape, and body armor. Along with a purple helmet and blue mask, the ensemble is comprised of various material and technology from various points in the future. The man hits a button on his time chair and dissolves into another point in time. A simple few seconds into the future. This isn't teleportation. The time chair is what the name suggests. He's moving through time, not just location. He can move around any given area by traveling just a second forward in time.
Arriving in a dystopian wasteland that was once home to an entire civilization of Kosmosians, a passive and intelligent species, the man from the future checks up on their hard labor.
"I trust the stimuloid is almost complete." The man claims, insinuating that harm will come to them if their work is not yet finished.
"It is, great Kang the Conqueror." One of the Kosmosians replies. "It'll be ready to deploy at a moment's notice."
"Very good." Kang replies. "When I conquered your world I expected push back. How lucky am I to have found such a peaceful, cooperating race of aliens. You should be very proud. Where I come from, your kind doesn't exist anymore. With my mercy, we may be able to extend your family tree by a few more centuries."
"Thank you, oh great one. The Mighty Kang, we are truly in your gratitude."
"Enough groveling, pet. That's assuming your weapon works. The schematics I provided to you are accurate and will produce the results I require... unless it isn't properly assembled. In which case... your bloodline ends here and now."
A few days later, The Fantastic Four work together to bring down The Growing Man. They receive their names and their status as superheroes in the public eye. Something Kang did not desire from their encounter with the stimuloid.
Kang stands above the Kosmosians. Perched on top of a small hill overlooking the rest of their kind. Using telekinesis, he holds up the leader of their race. The one they trusted and admired the most to elect as their official.
"You were warned!" Kang exclaims, "What defeat would bring to your lineage!"
One of the Kosmosians speaks up, "Almighty Kang, we beg of you. Humiliated and humbled. We are at your mercy and only ask that you spare us once more, so we may prove to you that we can do better."
Without uttering a single word, Kang crushes their leader using the might of his telekinetic powers. He summons his time chair and sits upon it.
Kang gets in the Kosmosian's face, "Then do better."
The Kosmosians weep as Kang hovers passed them all. He presses some buttons on the chair and begins to fizzle away as he travels to Earth, where he will confront the newly formed, Fantastic Four.
"That all sounds unfathomable, Dr. Richards." Agent Brand puts her sunglasses back on. "But I believe you." Agent Brand begins to walk away from The Four, still standing on the sidewalk of a very public road.
"You do?" Reed asks. "What organization did you say you worked for again?"
"I didn't. We'll be in touch." Agent Brands continues down the street leaving The Four bewildered.
As The Fantastic Four head back inside the wreckage of their former laboratory, yet another portal opens. They're all suddenly frozen in place with a harsh purple aura around them. It's the kinetic energy of Kang! And with that, The Conqueror himself steps out of the portal. The Four look scared out of their minds when this man in purple and green armor steps through with his cape blowing in the wind. Their world has expanded so much in the matter of just a few days. It's almost too much for the average mind to comprehend. Kang approaches Reed.
"Dr. Richards. It is so nice to finally meet you officially." Kang says sincerely. "I've heard so much about you. So much about all of you, in fact. You are a package deal after all."
The Four can't speak while trapped in Kang's aura.
"Don't worry about talking now. You don't have to do it here. Let's take a trip together." Kang moves The Four towards him and steps backwards into the portal as The Four follow right behind.
