Walking up to India's doorstep, Kelo knocked a good few times loudly before tucking his hands in his pocket. After a few seconds, he heard a voice. "Who is it?" India called out. He didn't reply, he waited until she came to the door and peeked in the hole. When she realized it was him, she opened it.

"Oh—" She paused before looking back. "Xi!" She yelled.

Kelo saw Ximora coming out of a room with a confused look on her face but it softened when she saw him. "Kelo.. you didn't have to come. India was gon drop me off."

"Nah you sounded too worried. Wassup?" He grabbed her hand when she was close enough and pulled him into her chest, wrapping his arms around her waist.

After Ximora got the call from her aunt, she called Kelo back and told him she needed to talk to him. Kelo wanted her to tell him right then and there but she decided against it and said India would drop her off soon.

Letting his nerves get the best of him, Kelo just decided to pull up himself since he now had Ximora's location.

"Let me go get my stuff," She pulled away from their hug briefly and walked off. He stared at her until he couldn't see her anymore as she walked into India's room.

"You can come in," India told him since he was just standing there. She wanted to close the door but she didn't want to close it on him.

Kelo hesitantly stepped in, India closed the door behind him. He stayed by the door looking around the well decorated home to avoid awkwardness. Kelo never really cared for any of Ximora's friends or family because he assumed they didn't like him, just like her brother. So it was awkward for him to be standing in India's living room.

"Can I ask you a question?" India spoke up after a few seconds making him look at her confused.

"Wassup?" He replied.

"You here to stay?" She asked, making him even more confused.

"What you mean? Her—"

"No I mean here. Not here in my home. Are you in Ximora's life to stay or are you temporary? Do you see a future with her? Do you have love for her or are you in love with her?" She questioned seriously making him go deep in thought. "I'm not asking to be in yall business or nothing, I'm asking as a friend. One of her only friends. I don't wanna see my friend get hurt."

"Ximora's been through a lot and she's already going through a lot right now mentally. I know y'all relationship wasn't built up the right way but I just hope you're genuinely trying to make things right now," She said in the most respectful way possible.

India didn't want to cross any boundaries but she felt the need to. Especially because she only looked at Ximora and Kelo's relationship based on what Ximora would tell her. She meant no harm but she was curious if Kelo felt the same way Ximora did about things.

"Well.. I don't plan on being temporary. I'm here to stay and I-I love Ximora. It feel weird sayin' that shit but I do and I figured that out a few weeks ago. I see a future with her and ion know if she feel the same but I'm willing to get her to feel the same, whatever it takes," He said truthfully.
