IRL

after she had read the messages in the chat, Cassie went to the Astronomy tower. She sat at the edge and thought about what her sister had said. Would she really get disowned? Would her parents love her if she had gotten into Slytherin or was she just not good enough? Before she could stop it, tears were freely streaming down her face.

James had always found peace on the tower. It was so nice and quiet and even though he was quite extroverted, he enjoyed quiet moments just as much. The last thing that he was expecting to see on top of the stairs was Cassiopeia Black, crying her eyes out.

When both made eye contact, nobody said a thing. He just sat down next to her and pulled her into a tight hug, which she immediately reciprocated. They clung onto eachother for dear life, afraid of letting go. Once they let go, she asked him not to tell anyone about it, he made a pinky promise and left.
