Today, it's Bertha Margerine I's first show as one of Taylor Swift's backup singers on the reputation stadium tour. This is a one in a lifetime experience, and she should be excited about this, but there's one problem... Bertha cannot sing to save her life. You may be wondering how she got into this position.... Bertha doesn't know either. She figures it's too late to worry, so she throws on her jacket and heads to the stadium.

The closer she gets to the stadium, the more her anxiety turns into excitement. She's going to absolutely eat this up, and she knows it. She decides to practice her singing a little bit as she drives down the busy streets of the city. "Oh.. look what you made me do... look what you made me do....". She sounds DREADFUL.

It was only when she pulled into the stadium parking lot that it really hit her. She's going to be performing in front of several tens of thousands of people, and she can't even sing. Hopefully her mic doesn't work 😂😂. She slams the door of her car, deciding that if she just pretends she's going to body this performance, she will. She struts towards the stadium doors, making a huge fool of herself. "Bertha Margerine The First." She says to the security guard, who pulls a confused face at her. "Bertha Margerine? Taylor's best backup singer?" She yells at him, still trying to act confident. Eventually the security guard understands and lets her in. She walks backstage where the other backup singers are already there waiting.

"It's time for rehearsal!" A man shouts from somewhere. Bertha and the other backup singers step out onto the stage, where Taylor is doing a sound check. As the rehearsal starts, Bertha's nerves start to kick in. She's not going to body this whatsoever. Apart from her terrible singing, rehearsals went quite well. She was surprised that no one had noticed how bad she was. Maybe she wasn't that bad at singing after all? No.. they definitely noticed but were too nice to say anything. She wasn't sure how she'd gotten away with it, but she did. She was sort of hoping they would kick her out as she was so bad to save her from the embarrassment during the show.

It's now 1 hour before the show starts, and people are beginning to pour into the stadium. Oh. My. God. There is NO way this is real. Bertha is not about to go and perform in front of quite literally the whole world as far as she is concerned... She peaks out at the now huge crowd. 45 minutes before the show starts. 30 minutes before the show starts. The opening act has now taken the stage, and Bertha feels like she's going to pass out. This is a dream, right? She's always had vivid dreams like this... It's a dream. Right? She pinches herself as she desperately hopes she wakes up in her comfortable bed. Nope. This is real life. She can't believe it. She's a terrible singer. After giving herself a whole 25 minute pep talk, she's ready to go on.
