«The world spins around for us to meet» A tender hand whipped away the rolling tears falling down my cheeks, and I woke up drenched in sweat.
I've been having dreams about a man I don't know about for a whole year, and he speaks to me each time.
It all started last summer, when I passed out while working at a restaurant.
At 4:00 a.m. I gazed tiredly at my phone.
I'd better stay awake and get everything ready for work.
26 years old, insomniac, broke, working three part-time jobs, owing a lot of money, and living in a small apartment. When was the last time I shaved or cut my hair?
I'll make a decent breakfast and lunch with the three ingredients I have before starting another long day.

I was scanning through my phone when I got a text from Matthew, my junior and only remaining friend.
«Come on, Hyung! You must attend the meeting! It'll be a lot of fun! Ricky has invited everyone to the karaoke thereafter. All you have to do is bring yourself to it. As a thank you for helping me move my stuff, I'm inviting you to dinner!»
We received an invitation to a meeting for all 2020 graduates around a month ago.
If things had been different, would I have been excited about this?
"Grandma, I'm taking my leave." I bowed politely in front of her photo while lighting some incense.
My parents reside in the countryside, several hours away. We rarely ever speak, especially since my grandmother died. Around the time she became ill, I was struggling to graduate and dealing with an injury that kept me from becoming a professional dancer.

I was about to go home and enjoy a cold drink after a long day when I noticed Matthew waiting for me. Kim Jiwoong grabbed my hoodie just as I was going to flee.
"Hanbin-ah! It's been a long time! You're very lucky. You know there's a barbershop nearby, and I got some clothes! Isn't it a strange coincidence?" He chuckled and tugged me along with a chatty Matthew.

"Now the number one hottie is back!" They both joyfully clapped.
"Doesn't this seem a little excessive? I've got to work tomorrow," I muttered tiredly.
I didn't have the energy to fight back.
"I took the liberty of requesting a day off from your bosses. Your coworkers also pitched in and switched shifts. Let's party hard, Hyung!" Matthew stated it with pride.

We walked inside a bar close to the campus. There were a lot of students. It brought up a flood of memories. I was constantly present at reunions and nights out.
I made an effort to balance my leisure and study time, but my senior year was a disaster.
All I remember was crying, becoming outraged, and lashing out.
I couldn't place myself.

I've always kept my feelings to myself, and I genuinely regret harming others around me. Even Matthew must have found it difficult to deal with someone like me.
