Blinding Shadows

Chapter 1

The story opens up to the inside of a hospital room in the largest hospital in the city of Vale with our main character seen intently doing sit ups, following a specific workout routine, moving to pushups before a nurse opens the door and peers her head in.

     "Excuse me," The nurse spoke as she opened the door, only to be extremely shocked from the shirtless gentleman ahead of her, "Oh, my god!" The noise finally caught the attention of the man and he looked to see the cause of it before shouting himself,

     "Ah, I'm sorry!" He fumbled around, getting up again before the nurse stepped into the room and replied,

     "No, I'm the one who should apologize..." She took a minute and looked closer at the patient, "Whoa...I don't remember...This patient having such a nice body." After looking, she blushed intently before speaking again, "Um, you're being discharged today right?" The gentleman replied,

     "Yes, I am. I still have to get some supplies before my school year starts." The woman smiled, still with her bright red face and pulled out her phone and asked the burning question she has had,

     "Do you think... I could get your number?" She pushed the phone out towards him to which he took it replying with his own question,

     "My number?" The woman nodded and replied,

     "Yes...if you're okay with it..." The man nodded and thought to himself, "Is she going to send me my exam results later?"

     "Sure, hold on a sec," The man replied as he put his phone number into the nurse's phone. The nurse leaves as the man packs his stuff away and heads down towards the reception area to check out, passing a pair of people in the hallway, one a blonde woman in a white and black dress and the other a gentleman with grey hair and some blind man glasses. Arriving down at reception, he walked up to the woman there and spoke, "Hello, I am getting discharged today, I was told to come down here. The woman looked up at him and spoke,

     "My apologies, can I get your name?" The man nodded before answering,

     "My name is (Y/n) (L/n)." The woman nodded before going to her computer and typing away for a bit before handing you some forms and a pen.

     "Please fill these out, once you're done place them in there," She says as she points at a bin that says "Forms" on the side. You nodded and took the forms, sitting down nearby and filling them all out signing a million different spots before walking back and tossing them in the aforementioned area, picking up your bag and leaving the hospital and venturing back into the city of Vale. Wandering through the city you eventually saw a woman you knew quite well. Blake Belladonna. You jogged over to her before she noticed you, squinting as if she didn't know who you were.

     "Hey Blake! How have you been?" He asked as she squinted even more before replying,

     "Excuse me, do I know you?" He stopped and looked at her before replying again,

     "Blake it's me (Y/n)! (Y/n) (L/n)." She gasped as she looked him over before asking him something.

     "(Y/n)! You look so different, have you been working out?" He stopped and thought about it before answering his friend,

     "Um...a little I guess?" Blake smiled and realized she was looking up at him and smiled.

     "You look more buff, but does exercising make you taller as well?" She asked to which he replied in a sarcastic manner,

     "Stop asking questions Blake, I just wanted to say hello." They sat and chat for a while before Blake got a message and had to run only replying with "White Fang stuff" A popup window appeared in front of me
