She was wearing his apron as a replacement of overalls because she seemed to think they made her more sophisticated than the rest of them.
She certainly looked more sophisticated than her brother, who had on a neon green tee-shirt with muted blue baggy pants despite it being consistently over 80 no matter what type of system of heat measurement you're using. He swears his kids are the most unethical bunch on planet earth ever.
