Dazai was minding his own business on the crowded train. He didn't like traveling by train but that was better than traveling with his fiancé. Fyodor was one of the most sought out alphas in the entire world not only for his looks but his money. Fyodor was beyond wealthy and his father's greed showed no bounds. His father sold him without a blink of an eye.

Dazai truly didn't understand why Fyodor picked him out of the millions of betas and omegas that were drooling all over him. It didn't make sense–and what didn't make even more sense to Dazai was how many people actually wanted to be Fyodor's mate. Fyodor was a cruel alpha to him and those cold amethyst eyes Fyodor had showed no mercy. Fyodor would make him do such embarrassing things just to satisfy himself.

Dazai didn't want a repeat of the situation he was in over two weeks ago so he did the one thing that he thought would work best—avoid Fyodor. Dazai didn't want to be near the alpha at all but his father made that quite hard when he proposed that he should live with Fyodor.

Every day he sleeps in so that he can wait for Fyodor to leave and he returns home at a time when he knows Fyodor will be elsewhere. Hell, he even went to bed when the sun was still out so he wouldn't have to talk with Fyodor. Dazai even purposely doesn't read Fyodor's messages until hours later saying that he was too busy that he didn't notice them. Everything that Dazai did was to avoid Fyodor. That much was obvious.

Dazai peacefully rode the train until he felt a familiar scent entering his nose, causing him to tense up. He knew that scent anywhere–it was none other than his fiancé's earthy scent.

Before Dazai could even begin to hide, Fyodor's hand roughly grabbed onto Dazai's waist. He could feel Fyodor pressing against him; Fyodor's breath tickled Dazai's ear too.

"Osamu," Fyodor whispered. "Why are you taking the train? I can drive you anywhere you want. You don't need to do something that is below your worth."

Dazai straightened up. "I'm fine with taking the train. It gives me plenty of time to think."

"Think?" Fyodor darkly chuckled. "Think about what exactly? Your novel? Or the best way to avoid me?"

"I'm not avoiding you!" Dazai said a little too quickly.

Dazai felt the vibrations of Fyodor's low laugh hitting him. He had nowhere to hide now and he was petrified of what Fyodor would do to him. It wouldn't be the first time Fyodor did something to him in public.

"I love you, Osamu," Fyodor said.

"I love you too," Dazai said through gritted teeth. As much as he hated saying those words, he had to for his own survival. Although, he couldn't exactly decipher what Fyodor's chuckle meant after he said those words. "We should go to dinner tonight."

"Hmmm," Fyodor hummed, "that sounds wonderful. But . . ."

"But what? Do you have other arrangements?" Dazai pouting. Faking his own emotions was his specialty so of course, Dazai was going to use it to his advantage. "That can't be helped then. Another day the–"
