AN: Just real quick, if Danny ever sees this, hi and thank you for being such an amazing content creator (and being so chill about Danpo)
Ranpo yawned. Then he stood. Then he sighed. Then he grabbed a bag of snacks.
Today sure was boring.
But he was supposed to leave for a case in a few minutes. So maybe it wouldn't last forever?
But waiting was so exhausting.
If only time would hurry up...
After a few minutes, it was time for him to leave. So he put a bag of snacks in his pocket, grabbed a marble, and off he went.
Lucky him, today he wouldn't have to take the train. Which was good, at least in his opinion.

Somewhere across town, an old man was yelling. Loudly.
"Come on now sonny, a little bit louder!" He yelled at someone else.
The person he yelled at sighed and repeated themselves.
"In the name-"
"Still too quiet!" The old man sighed. "Hey newbie, take over!"
The person on stage walked off with an annoyed look, passing the 'newbie' who was walking on stage.
He cleared his throat. Then he began.
"In the name of the Count, I must inquire as to your whereabouts yesterday evening. I hope you don't mind, my dear sir."
The old man looked pleased. Finally someone who could speak up.
"Alright newbie, you're playing later in the performance! Now go get ready! We've only got three hours to prepare and I need you to be perfect!"
"Yeah, good job 'newbie'." The person who'd originally been onstage said with an eye roll.
"Do any of you even remember my name?"
"Doesn't matter. In fact, might as well have it legally changed to Newbie."
The young boy sighed and walked off to prepare for the show later. Acting was nothing to him, especially considering he'd done it before for his videos. And his acting was generally perceived in a positive way. But after YouTube crashed and the company went bankrupt, there wasn't much of a job there anymore.
Though there was still an audience, so he made sure to have time to keep TikToks rolling out.
Though that wasn't easy considering how tiring it was to act.
The acting gig he'd recently received was meant to be in an actual theater, but the place had been closed as part of a police investigation since someone had been killed. And now, here he was with his first acting gig being done in a school auditorium.
But he was determined to make the best out of it.

"Hey! It's that Armed Detective Agency guy!" A rookie officer announced, pointing at Ranpo walking inside.
"Yeah, hi. So, no evidence?"
