Do you ever think of me?

When you lie

Lie down in your bed

Your bed of lies

Humming along to the song I curled the last strand of my waist length light brown hair. I placed the curling iron back in its place and coated my eyes in liquid eyeliner making a perfect wing that made my hazel eyes stand out along with my cherry red lipstick. Flashing the person in the mirror a smile I took a step back but the smile faltered, both the reflection and I knew it was still fake. It was only there for the sake of my family, it's been there so long it's mistaken to be a real smile but I am the only one who knows it's not. It could never be anymore. I was no longer the carefree child that loved to play with flowers, no, I was the bad ass trouble maker that burned flowers. I was that girl who always had my guard up. Oh my name's Savanna Rose Edwards but people call me Anna or Rose for short.

"Savanna sweetheart breakfast!" my mother called. I took one last look in the mirror and my frown was replaced as the fake smile slid back into its place.

Strolling down the stairs I let out a groan as I reach the bottom. I took a deep breath and walked to the kitchen to assure everyone I was okay even though I knew it was just an act. That's all my life seemed to be, just a façade.

"Hey momma" I kissed her on her cheek smiling.

"Sit!" She ordered with a loving smile placed on her delicate heart shaped face. People often said i took after my mother and I couldn't help but agree with that statement. We both had honey brown wavy hair and the same shade of hazel eyes.

I sat down on the chair and began digging in the yummy breakfast placed before me. My mother was an awesome cook.

"Momma!" my baby brother came walking in rubbing his eyes with one hand and holding his cherished blanket in the other.

"Sweetie your awake" my mom walked over to him and scooped him up into her arms.

I had a normal nuclear family. It consisted of me, my mother, my father, my baby brother and my older brother.

Kyle was my 18 year old sex bunny brother. He was the eye candy for all the girls at my school. He had his circle

"Mom I can't find my toothbrush!" Speak of the devil and he arrives I thought sarcastically as my older brother Kyle appeared in the doorway only wearing his boxers.

"Oh hunnie who manages to lose their toothbrush?" my mom laughed at my brother's situation.

My younger brother suddenly looking more awake smiles at Kyle sweetly.

"Brush Doggy Teeth!" he beamed happily. It dawned on me that my little angel used my brothers toothbrush to brush our dog Spike's teeth .

"What?" Kyle scrunched his eyebrows up in confusion then his features changed in realization

"What! Dude No! Mom!!" He started throwing a mini tantrum and I dropped to the floor laughing while my mom was trying to protect my baby brother Aiden from Kyle's rath

"You think this is funny?" He glared at me.

Ohoh!

"Amh yea actually I do," I smirked, immediately regretting it as he began stalking towards me dangerously.

"Your dead meat Edwards"

I yelped running behind my mother. Now having two kids to protect she did the only thing any sane mother would. She reached over and took up a pan holding it out as a weapon. This is what happens when you watch tangled to many times.

The battle was cut off by someone clearing their throat and we all turned to see my father, Nicholas standing with a nerf gun holding it pointing at my mother. It was boy's verses girls (including a baby brother)

"Drop the pan and no one gets hurt," he smiles.

'Never"

"Don't give up mom!" I backed back forming a plan in my head, reaching for the hose in the sink.

Letting out a battle cry I attacked my brother while my father shot my mother with the nerf gun and my baby brother giggled. That my friend is a typical morning at the Edwards home.
