As the joy of being married keep popping on Jessica's ear,she feels emotional, remembering her mother departure,and on how she has been lonely and wander around since birth,and she had no feelings or experience on how mother's love or parent care feels like, on hearing this Felix was heartbroken,and pretended not to be hurt,as he helds her to his shoulder as he sang her a sweet romantic song,as the both laugh and mimick each other.

"That is why God brought us together,he knows that we are even and that we both suffer and had no opportunity to feel what it's like to have a mother; said Jessica.

As days passes,Mr Allen asked to have a conversation with Felix, he asked felix to return home and wait for him,Felix was devastated and couldn't utter a word, that was a shocking request to grant,but he had no option than to obey,as he set -out to his hometown .

Felix arrives in his hometown as he meet one of his brother (Chris) whom he was close with after his father,with the excitement he tries to embrace Chris but he refuses and asked him why he came back?
Felix was disappointed and feel with pains but choose to be strong as he asked him why he said that?
" I'm I not welcome in my father's house? Even though that father is no more,does that prove that I can't even pay a visit toy father's grave?said Felix

As he groams in agony and pain,he rushes to his father room and wept bitterly.

In the middle of the week, in which their wedding was scheduled,Mr Allen pays Felix a warm visit,as the brother's tries to ditch him out, Mr Allen shocked them when he said, "my purpose here is to see Felix not you all, please if you don't mind excuse us".

The brothers were left in annoyance but choose not to provoke or insult their father's friend.
Mr Allen told Felix the purpose of his visit,that he came concerning their discussion about their marriage proposal,he told Felix to bring his family members for proper introduction.

Felix on the contrary is not in good terms with the brother's neither the stepmother,but he try his possible best to informed them about his wedding proposal but they all mocked him and calls him some sort of name's,this made Felix frustrated and left to mr Allen house with lot of anger .

As he arrives at mr Allen house, he told him all that the brothers has done to him,how they called him names and choose not to give him a listening ears,but Mr Allen still insist that it's against the tradition if proper introduction is not being held,that it will affect their generation to generation, on hearing this Jessica was heartbroken and felt disappointed about the situation.
The next day,Chris and his brothers pays Jessica's father a visit,but he had left for work,so they decided to tell Jessica a tips on why they came and Jessica was dumbfounded with a great shock of her life
" The reason why we are here is because of you, we are here to asked for your hand in marriage, please do not say no to me,I will do everything for you with the help of my mother and brothers,you won't regret getting married to me " said Chris .
Felix who hides as he saw the brothers coming felt he has been betrayed by his stepbrothers and stepmother, so he gather the courage to asked Jessica if this is what her father and the brothers conspired, Jessica said nothing but went into the house, Felix wept bitterly as he call on the father's ghost to rescue him in the hands of his wicked stepbrothers and stepmother.
