"Who are you talking with, Kurona?" A soft voice from the back says.

"Yuki, is that you?" You recognise the voice.

You stay silent.

"Who's (half name)?" Kurona asks.

"Um... He's..." Yukimiya hesitates.

"My brother! Yeah, my brother!" He chuckles nervously.

"Okay... Anyways N/N, what are you doing?" Kurona waves off the topic and focuses on you instead.

"Ah, I was just making some instant noodles." You reply with a little relief in your voice.

"Wow, that's cool." Kurona nods excitedly, while Yukimiya looks at the screen with a sorry look.

"I should get going now. Bye Kurona!" You say.

"Bye N/N... Yukimiya, say bye," Kurona waves and then looks at Yukimiya.

Silence.

"Yukimiya... Yukimiya, say bye! Hello?" Kurona clicks his fingers in front of Yukimiya's face.

"Oh, um, yeah! Bye ...N/N!" Yukimiya smiles nervously.

You cut the call and let out a breath that you didn't know were holding.
