Knight and Njnja

Chapter One

Lizzy was wondering around the woods, looking for either a fight or a person to help. She kept her mask up encase she found someone to fight or help.

She had been walking for days when she heard a girlish scream. She ran towards, sticking to the shadows.

What she saw was a knight in white trying to get photographer bots to take his photo. She face palmed then walked away.

She ended up finding a monster trying to put fear into a knight in green.

"That is so off the shield, yo! So what else you got, Chilli Pepper Pam?"

Lizzy silently chuckled at that.

"What? That is not my name either." "Oh, oh, whatevs. Hot Links Heidi." "I am Whiparella! With one snap of my whip I can find your deepest darkest fear and bring it to life."

If she brought my fears to life, then I'd have relive everything I went through with my team. I should help him.

"No way, No Whip Latte." "Yes way, and it's Whiparella! I have crushed all your knight friends, not with weapons, but with their own worst nightmares."

I really should help him, I'll help after stops talking.

"Fear of hunger, the greatest meal always just out of reach. Fear of obscurity, a spoiled boy in a world that doesn’t even care he exists. Fear of being a princess who shall never become a true knight! Fear of failing, not just the damsel in distress but your beloved Knight's Code as well!" "Good times right, Wimp-arella."

I have no comments for those fears.

"Stop that! And tell me why my fear magic had no effect on you. I got no sense of any fear whatsoever."

Dang, no fear.... lucky.

"That's because I've got no fear whatsoever! Woo-hoo!"

Now or never Lizzy.

"Hey snake lady, why don't you meet a true fearful being."

Lizzy created an illusion of the Great Devourer.

The two were confused. Whiparella saw a giant snake making it's way to her. The knight in green looked around to find the voice.

"WHAT IS THAT?!" "That, is the Great Devourer. She is ever so hungry."

The Great Devourer ignored the green knight and chased after Whiparella as she slithered away.

"Whoever you are, thank you for the help." "Not a problem, she may return... so do you have anything to stop her?" "Oh, right... Merlok! Nexo Knight!"

Nexo knight? Merlok? Whatever helps him out.

Lizzy then soon left without a word.

"So what's your name and where are you?"

When he got no response he flew off on his shield.

Lizzy found herself near a fortress on wheels. She simply sneaks her way on the top before going in.

"Man, I still think we should've chased after them and… wham!"

Greenie said to the other knights and two kids.

"The Knight's Code says we're supposed to defend the downtrodden. He seemed pretty down and trodden. (Sighs) But then I utterly failed the whole Knight's Code thing, didn't I?"

Blue Boy said in return.

"Oh, come on! Don't be so hard on yourself, Clay. We all fell for that slithery monster's tricks."

Red Lady said to Blue Boy, that she now knows as Clay.

"Yeah, Macy, but I don’t know. I still wish that I was like Aaron. Afraid of nothing."

Now I know three names out of the group.

She watched as the power went out, even Aaron's shield had deactivated.

"Hey, what gives?" "Sorry. Some kind of power surge. Merlok 2.0's offline."

The girl at the computer said in a bored and emotionless tone.

"Is he okay?" "He's fine, but we’ll have to shut down everything in the castle." "Even my shield?" "Yup, the system's very fragile, so stay completely silent and still during the reboot. Do nothing." "What? No, no, no. What? How am I supposed to stay still? How long is this gonna take?"

Computer Girl checks the computer, that somehow still works.

"According to this message from Merlok, about 10 minutes." "I have to do nothing for a whole 10 minutes?!"

Lizzy watched as Aaron shakes and hyperventilates. She got reminded of Kai and his hydrophobia.

Damn, so he does have a fear.  Afraid of having nothing to do for any amount of time. I feel bad for him.

"Not moving. Not moving. I can't take nothing!"

Aaron screams and runs off. After he left, the power and a hologram if an old man appeared as well as the power.

"What was that all about?" "Oh, you just saw Aaron's greatest fear. When there is nothing to do. As the fear monster said, he is literally afraid of nothing." "Really?"

Lizzy noticed that the big guy looked uneasy. He was looking around as he ate a chicken wing.

She started ignoring the rest of the conversation. She snuck away and stealthily explored the fortress.
