Ellie's P.O.V:

"I'm so happy you finally agreed to go shopping," Ruby said with a grin plastered to her face, as 3 shopping bags swung freely off her arms.

"Well, I haven't been yet, and now I've got a little more money, why not?" I laughed, dragging the girls into Topshop.

"Has Harry been to see you yet?" Louise asked, when we were paying at the till. I shook my head and looked down, not wanting her eyes to catch mine.

It had been 2 weeks since I last went out with Harry, and it was only just sinking in that he might not be into me. He hasn't found me. I blamed myself; maybe Mum was right, I shouldn't make them play games in trying to find me, especially a guy as busy as Harry, he's barely got time to call his own Mum. I am so foolish, I thought, and stupid, but I'm young, and I'm learning, and besides, what else am I supposed to do? We didn't exchange numbers, or Skype's, or anything, I know his Twitter, but so does millions of other girls - I had no chance.

Louise noticed I didn't seem to want to talk about it right now, make a scene, or get all upset on my first shopping spree around London. I was grateful to Louise at these moments; she could always tell what I was thinking or feeling, and she knew what I desired at these desperate times, something very few people get the knack at.

"Ellie, go on," Louise nudged me to the till, where the women was waiting patiently with a big Topshop bag. I pulled on a smile, and walked to her, plonking my items on the desk, and watched as she scanned threw all my items. I glanced back over to Louise who was still waiting in line, 4 skirts in hand, and a orange blazer in the other. She gave me a smile, telling me silently that it was alright, and that we would talk later at hers or at mine.

"That's £75 please Miss," The women behind the desk that wore the name tag Lottie explained, a smile on her face, as she looked at me expectantly.

"Oh-right-yeah-sorry," I said, a little jumpy.

"It's fine, no need to rush, there's a cute guy a little behind, so hopefully he'll come here if you're slow," Lottie said cheekily, her eyes looking back at the guy, counting how far back he was.

"Oh, I hope you get him," I laughed, injecting my card into the machine.

I looked up at Lottie, and wondered how she didn't already have a boyfriend. She was young, around my age, and she had dark black hair, the kind of black hair that could have been mistaken for being dyed, but you could tell it was her natural colour. It was long too, and pushed back to one side in a loose fish tail plait, that was already starting to come undone further up the top. I looked back at the guy she was waiting for - handsome enough, tall, brown hair, blue eyes, his hair styled to one side with a slight quiff but not too high either. He wore smart clothes as well: skinny jeans with a auburn colored top, to compliment his hair. I noticed he was only two away now, and I quickly gathered my things, wanting Lottie to have him.

"Thanks, I best be off if want Mr Skinny Jeans," I laughed, taking my bag from the side, and nudging Lottie out of her gaze.

"Oh, right thanks," She giggled as I walked away. I looked back and noticed she had him, smiling, I stuck up my thumb in her direction, but she was already busy chatting him up, and scanning threw his items slowly.

I looked around me and noticed Louise and Ruby, stood deep in conversation near the entrance door, being nudged and pushed by customers, but refusing to move. I walked up to them happy once again, with the thought of Harry out of my mind for the first time all day. Ruby, who had no idea about me being a little upset about Harry or anything, jumped up and down excitedly, saying we 'reeallllyyyyy' need to go to Urban Outfitters whilst we're near by, which of course, we all agreed to. And that's why I love Ruby, because even though she's a little oblivious at times about everyone around her, she still wants to cheer everyone up, and want them to have a nice time, and insists of them always having a smile on their face. And you need a friend like that sometimes when your sad, a friend that will not ask, or even know that your sad, but will make you feel happier anyway, by not giving you much attention at all, but giving you normality instead: something we all need.
