"It marks the dawn of high school!" I arose from the embrace of my cozy bed, indulging in a leisurely bath. "Aahh..." I sighed with contentment as I reclined in the bath, savoring the tranquility. Fully prepared for the school day...

"Liza! Breakfast beckons..." Mom's voice echoed, drawing me downstairs with visions of chocolate waffles and steaming coffee. Yet, reality unfolded as a cheese omelette and a glass of milk. "Well... wasn't expecting my breakfast routine to be on repeat for three months..."

"Quit mumbling and devour it before the bus makes its grand entrance!" Mom urged me, prompting a swift consumption of the mundane omelette and lukewarm milk. Soon, the bus whisked me to school faster than anticipated.

Upon entering my class, Ella, Parker, and Cody rushed towards me, culminating in a group hug. Our joyous reunion lingered awkwardly long, a testament to the enduring nature of our friendship. The first day at school was a delightful affair, filled with tales from our extended holiday.

Every hand in the group shot up, elevating my optimism. "So, where do we begin?" Ella inquired with determination.
