A royal wedding
"I saw you speaking with those guards earlier... what do they want? What business do royal guards have with us mother?" Izuku questioned his mother as soon as they had left the room, he was desperately seeking answers as to why they were here in the first place.
But most importantly as to why they were still outside their residence and his mothers face was filled with a mix of sorrow and excitement.
"Izuku, my sweet boy~" she said softly, as she held back tears, rubbing the back of her hand against his cheek.
"Mother what is it?!"
"It is time you fulfill your duty to not only our land but the whole country, my love"
Izuku was still with no clue of what she was telling him.
"Mom, what do you mean?"
"Izuku, you have been chosen to marry the young king of the grand nation that rules over us, Katsuki Bakugo."
"What!? that's nonsense!" the omega said as he stormed off his mothers room.
His mother followed him with a paper in hand that she had signed, it was an official contract made by the royal family to approve this wedding.
"Izuku! Come here right now!"
There were a few times his mother raised his voice at him. But when she did he knew better than to ignore her. So he turned around and slowly walked back to her.
He sighed, "Mom, is this really true?"
"Pack your things love, we leave now."
She took both his hands with hers and clasped them together as she looked at him with the softest gaze.
"You are the future of this land Izuku, your people are counting on you and so am I. Now go fulfill the duty you were always born to do my son" she said, and gave him a soft peck in the cheek as she got in the carriage.
Izuku knew this was his duty since the moment he was born a male omega, he knew being married to a lord not only for his own benefit but for his country was his destiny.
He wasn't nervous about that fact. He was nervous because why did it have to be the lord of LORDS! the king of the nation, he wasn't ready to become a king himself either and less over the whole country? He also knew nothing about this said young king. He could be a gremlin.
But even with all these worries clouding his mind, Izuku packed his bags and was now on his way to the royal palace.
