The Meeting

"Isabel you going to spend a month with your cousin. Go get your stuff" Isabel mother told her

As always she nod to agree and she went to her room. Her mom think maybe spend time with her cousin Rayan can bring her out her shell and get her to talk. She hasn't said one word since she was 14 when she came back home after she ran away when she was 13. Her mother don't know why she's not talking or why she ran away but its, but Its a dark secret Isabel has kept silent for almost 3 years.

As she's in her room she packed her stuff. She always carry her jewelry box. In there hides her secret. No one can get in it and no one will try. She got her suitcase and went to the living room to put it down. She went back to her room and change to her black knee length Love Pink sweat pant with her adidas sneaker and hoodie. She went to the door with her black and blue book bag to find her mom wainting for her. She put of her headphones and follow her mom to the car. Music is one way she escapes life. She loves her Kendrick Lamar. She sinks into his music as her mother takes her to her cousin house

As her mother pulls up to the house, Old memories of her and Rayan when they was younger ran through her head. They was so close like brother and sister until Rayan got in this boy band and their bond slowly loosen. She got out the car, not bothering to take the headphonees off, and grabbed her book bag. Her mother went to the door with Isabel's suitcase. She knocks on the door.

"Come on Izzy" Her mother said

She hates that nickname but she walks to the door. The same two braids she remember when they 10 opened the door.

"Hi Aunt Shayla" Rayan smiled at Isabel's mom "Hi Isabel"

She still has on her phone, paying him no attention

Rayan didn't know Isabel situation with the no talking. He let them in. To Isabel suprise, she didn't know Rayan's friennds was there

Isabel's mom took off her headphones "Behave and have fun"

Isabel gave a blank expression. She gives everyone that expression. Her mother told Rayan about The New Isabel he doesn't know. She gave Isabel a hug and left.

"Isabel These aare my friends Chresanto or Roc Jacob or Princeton and Craig or Prodigy" Rayan told

They waved to her. Isabel said nothing as usual. She just wanted to be home, by herself. Isolation.

"Ima give you a tour of my new house" He told her "I'll be back guys"

He gave Isabel a tour of the house. He showed her the room she's sleep in. He brought her bag to the room and went back to the guys. He except her to come down and hang with them but she decided to say in the room.

"Who's that girl" Chresanto asked him

"My cousin Isabel" he answers

"What's wrong with her She don't speak" Jacob said

"From what mmy aunt told me she's hasn't said one word in 3 years"

"I wonder why" Chresanto has his eye on her from the moment she walked in.

"I don't know but my aunt says maybe I can bring the old her out" Rayan sat back on the couch

Chresanto thought maybe he could get her to talked with his sweet side

Isabel decide she'll be outside in the backyard by the pool. She walked through the living room then kitchen to the backyard.

"I'm gonna get something to drink" Chresanto thought this his chance to talk to her
