Rainy days (ONESHOT) 💗

You were cozily reading a book under blankets as the rain hazily poured down the window. You were staying the night at your boyfriend, Ben's house. Ben went out to get some food and snacks at a nearby gas station. You worried about Ben since he had a massive fear of water from past trauma, just thinking of him alone outside having a panic attack made your heart sink. He assured you he would be fine by himself since he knew you were tired, but now you couldn't get him off your mind. As you were lost in thought, you got a text from your phone. It was Ben! "Hey babe" Ben said. "Hey Ben, are you okay?" "About that, can you come pick me up?" "Alright Ben... Omw" You quickly gathered your things as soon as the conversation ended. You speed walked to the gas station, trying not to slip.

Once you arrived, you saw Ben on a bench shaking and fidgeting with his hands. "Ben!" You ran over to him. Ben looked up at you distraught, bloody tears dripping from his eyes. "Are you alright Ben?" Ben held your hand and got up. "Y-yeah.. I'm j-just, kinda scared," He admitted, gulping in fear as he looked at the rain, his eye twitching. "It's alright Ben, I brought an umbrella," You pulled the umbrella out from your backpack you had also brought to cover the both of you. "You'll be fine Ben, i'll walk you home, just close your eyes," You held his hand gently as he squinted his eyes shut. You then started walking home.

After what felt like forever you finally made it home. Ben was latching on to you like a lost puppy, you couldn't help but smile worryingly at this gesture. "I-i'm sorry i put you through such a.. H-hassle." "You don't have to apologize," You smiled warmly at him. "What would I do without you.." Ben smiled shakily back. You both dried off and went upstairs, Ben still seemed a bit guilty and nervous about the whole situation so you offered him to relax in bed with you. "That would be nice.." Ben replied. You both went to bed sitting up, and you rested your head on his shoulder, caressing his soft hands.

You decided to hum peacefully to comfort him, he took a few deep breaths and rested his head on yours. Ben eventually was so lost in your elegant humming he'd forgot about the pouring rain outside. "Y/n, I-I still feel a bit guilty about making you walk home," "It's okay, really." "Oh, I know how to make it up to you." "Oh? How so?" You replied. "Just let me work my magic.. So basically put your lips as if you're about to whistle," You hesitated but confusingly did as he said. "Yeah just like that..." Ben then lean closer and gave you a surprise kiss, you could feel him smiling against your soft skin as he charmingly kissed you. Once it was done, he giggle a little bit seeing your flustered face. "Sorry, sorry, that was a bit cheesy." Ben cracked a smile. You smiled back still blushing, "You're such a idiot, I love you.." You mumbled loud enough for him to hear.

Ben looked at you in awe, flustered about this out of nowhere gesture. "Did you really just say that? I mean, I know it's true but I don't really hear you say it that often. I-I love you too," Ben smiled brightly with slight tears in his eyes. You gave him a quick peck on the cheek, making his heart beat even faster. He then smothered your face with kisses, letting out how much he loves you onto your soft skin. He then went down to you neck, resting his chin there. Feeling his hot breath on your skin made you feel safe. Ben took out a snack from the nightstand beside him and started eating. "Do you want some?" He asked. "Sure," You replied. He then fed you some of the snack, making your stomach happy.

Once the snack was done, he kissed your head. "It's getting pretty late, we should go to sleep now," "But I don't want toooo," You whined slightly with puppy eyes. Ben chuckled a little bit. "But you have to, princess, we can do whatever you want tomorrow~" Ben playfully said. "I can read to you if you want. You always fall asleep when I read to you." "Ooh, yes please." You replied. He then grabbed a book from his nightstand and laid down with you sideways. He wrapped his arms around you holding the book, him being a head taller made it convenient for him to read the book to you while you bury your face in his chest. He then began reading chapter by chapter. The sound of his soft, warm voice, and the rain pouring from the window mixed together was so comforting to you. Your eyes then began to feel heavy as you drifted off to sleep. Once he saw that you were in a deep stage of sleeping, he stopped reading. "Goodnight my love," he gently kissed the top of your head and drifted off to sleep holding you.
