The screams of the players echoing down the corridors were horrifyingly loud.

Huan Liang, Qing Mei, and Zhing Wei trailed behind Hai Chen.

Blood was splattered everywhere on the floor and the walls as they passed through the long corridor.

If they are caught, this will be their fate as well.

It felt like it was straight out of a horror film.

. . .Which is obviously where they are right now, of course.

They abruptly came to a halt.

"Ack. . ! H—help. . !"

Ahead of them two players are being eaten by the janitor monster.

The monster became aware of their presence and rapidly looked in their direction.

"This way—"

With a quick thought, Hai Chen calmly led his group to a room to hide from the monster.

It's a good thing Hai Chen acted quickly.

There was no one when the monster cast his gaze on the location where Hai Chen and his group had been a moment ago.

Hai Chen, Huan Liang, Zhing Wei and Qing Mei were lucky enough that the room they entered happened to be a library.

They hide behind the bookshelves, holding their breath, afraid of alerting the monster outside.

They eventually heard the janitor's footsteps walking farther and farther away until it vanished.

They breathed a sigh of relief.

"T-thank goodness. . . I thought I was a goner there."

Qing Mei said between her breaths.

Her fear still hasn't disappeared after witnessing that horrifying scene.

"It sure is pretty dusty here— *cough*"

Huan Liang said this while coughing nonstop.

"I assumed that no one had come in here to clean in about a couple of years. . ."

Zhing Wei said as he looks around the library.

Hai Chen simply ignores them; despite the danger they were in not long ago, he appears terrifyingly calm.

When confronted with the monster up close, he was full of indifference.

His mentality is abnormally high.

With his sharp eyes, he saw a computer and walked towards it.

Huan Liang, Zhing Wei, and Qing Mei naturally followed suite.

Hai Chen tried his luck, and to his surprise, the computer turned on and was still in functioning properly.

"To think there's a computer here, I'd say we're quite fortunate." ←Zhing Wei

"Isn't it absurd that this computer is still operational in this state. . ?" ← Qing Mei

They were taken aback when Hai Chen turned on the computer, then it led them straight to the files it contained.
