"Jordan!" I yell threw the phone.
"Harlow?"
" why would you invite Reece, you had me feeling special"
"You guys are my best friends, why wouldn't I invite you both to meet Lilly"
I sigh
"Okay but I wanna meet her first"
"Okay" he laughs threw the phone.
The next morning I start getting ready, I wore a long white skirt and a crochet white top to match.
I drove there myself wanting to get there before Reece.
I saw Jordan and began walk towards him, only to my surprise Reece was already there. How did I not see his car not sitting in the drive way.
I walk over glaring at Jordan as he put an I'm sorry smile on before I hide my glare with a warm smile as I introduced my self to Lilly.
" hi I'm Harlow but call me lally" I say bring her in for a hug.
"Lilly, it's really nice to finally meet you"
"Likewise" I sit down next to Reece and he smiles at me.
"Dick" I mouth at him
We all order and began chatting trying to get to know Lilly better
" um so I grew up in the city with my parents and my lizard, and I'm studying biology at the moment"
She was quite literally the opposite of me, Lilly had brown eyes and hair fair skin, lives in the city and no siblings and studies biology.
While I have blonde hair hazel eyes, I grew in on the Gold Coast with my brother and I'm studying law.
Me and Lilly instantly clicked despite our differences, she was really sweet and I could tell why Jordan liked her.
We left after eating and getting to know each other and headed back to mine and Reece's place.
As the boys went inside to get us drinks me and Lilly got to chatting.
"So you got a man's?" She asks me
I laugh and shake my head
"Oh well what about Reece?" She questions
"Me and Reece?! No we hate each other"
"What, your joking"
I shake my head again "I've known him since I was little and we've never gotten along"
"Come on I see the way you look at each other, yous totally are in love"
"What!" I yell out shocked "love??"
" tell me you have never thought about him in that way"
I go quiet
" see I told you"
The boys come out with drinks in there hands and some snacks
Me and Lilly giggle looking over at them
"What" Jordan asks sitting down next to Lilly
She whisper in his ear.
"I told Reece the exact same thing" Jordan burst out
Lilly giggles looking at me " I'm not the only one who sees it"
"Sees what?" Reece buds in
"That's you and lally are in love with each other but to stubborn to admit it" Jordan say whilst taking a chip from the bag
Me and Reece look at each other and burst out laughing.
"Yous are actually crazy"
"I would never think of such a repulsive thing" Reece laughs
Suddenly my stomach drops, but why. Because of what Reece said? But no I don't even like him, why is this happening? I hid my worry with a smile and try to forget about that feeling.
We eventually say goodbye to Lilly and Jordan.
It was so awkward with me and Reece now.
"Just so you know, I'm not in love with you. You may be with me because I'm just amazing but" he throws his hands up
"Shut up, I hate you"
I don't know what to say so I leave.
I just wanted to be alone. I didn't wanna talk to anyone especially Reece. But I do hate him. And he hates me that's how it's always been.
I decided I'm gonna try and avoid Reece until this feeling goes away. I can't have him catching on.
"Pass me the sauce" Reece say from the other side of the table to Eli as he passes him the sauce bottle.
"Why are you sitting there" Eli asks me
"Uhh, I uh just wanted a change" I was lying. I was just trying to sit as far away from Reece as possible.
I look up locking eyes with Reece, I felt the same feeling in my stomach as I look back down at my food.
"What's up with you, your quieter then normal?" Reece asks
I shrug my shoulder not looking up at him
After dinner I sat down in the living room turning on my favourite show. I sat quietly before Reece drops next to me. I pause.
He changes the channel getting comfortable in the couch. I jump up making a run for my room before I was stopped.
"Lally"
I turn around to look at Reece
"Your not gonna fight me over it?"
" no it's fine I was just leaving anyways"
"But didn't you just sit dow-"
"Got to go really busy" I interrupted him heading straight for my room.
