Turns out the concert was in LA, and we lived in San Francisco. So, ROAD TRIP!!!! Me and Lily hurriedly packed our bags as Jack waited for us in the car. With one last goodbye to our mother we were on the road.
The ride there was boring and extremely quiet. Lily had fell asleep almost as soon as we left.
A yawn escaped my lips as Jack turned the radio up. I smiled as
'Mrs. All American' came on.

Me and Lily started singing along to the song and then soon after that, Jack started in. I smiled at him then remembered a time when we were little and we had been in the car with my parents. We were sitting in the back of their SUV and our favorite song came on: They Don't Know About Us by One Direction. We looked at each other, smiled, and then busted out in song. My mom started laughing at us and I noticed that my dad was smiling. When I looked at Jack, he had been so happy. Now, we were older and had more responsibilities and didn't have time to be little again. Sometimes I miss those little moments we had when we were younger.

A few hours later I woke up to the radio playing the beginning of Amnesia. I looked over at Jack and noticed that he was singing along quietly. I smiled to myself then sat up and looked at Lily. She was still fast asleep in the back of the car. I leaned into Jack and said, "Do you wanna stop and switch so I can drive and you can get some sleep?" He looked at me for a few seconds then went back to looking at the road. "No, I'm fine," said Jack. "Okay, well if you want to let me drive anytime just let me know." I stated. Jack glanced at me and said, "Really, I'm fine."

A few minutes later 'She Looks So Perfect' came on the radio and I heard a scream in the back of the car. I turned quickly and looked at Lily. "What's wrong?!?" I yelled. She smiled at me then started singing to the song. I just smiled at her then turned back around. Then I noticed something. Jack was smiling at me through the mirror. "Can I help you?" I giggled. "What? Oh, uh. No" he stuttered as he realized that I caught him. I looked out my window and smiled to myself.

As I dozed off again, I had a dream about when Jack and I were about 8. It had been 4th of July and we had gone over to their house for a cookout, like we did every 4th of July. When the fireworks started, we all sat down and Jack came and sat next to me. After a little bit through the fireworks, Jack all of a sudden grabbed my hand and held it with his. I smiled softly to myself to make sure he didn't see me. That was the first time that I realized that me and Jack, we arn't just friends. We are so much more than that.
