I woke up in a huge bed, bigger than mine for sure. The room was pitch black, and my head throbbed as I tried to shake off the grogginess.
I hated being drugged; it was the worst.
I tossed the covers aside and took a look around. The room was massive, with two big windows covered in black curtains, a grand piano in one corner, a giant bookshelf, and a door to the left.
As I approached the windows in look for an escape, the door creaked open.
This week, it felt like someone had put some kind of spell on me. I swear.
"Glad you are awake, I usually am not this rude with my friends, but you have been avoiding me quite for some time." I turn around just in time to see how Sebastian dropped a pill and orange juice on the table. I felt like a prayer in a cage waiting to be fed.
Just this once, I told myself as I slowly approached the table and grabbed the drink.
"This is not poison, right?" I was 99% sure he did not want me dead, not just because it was against the Holy Rules, but because, of our unique situation.
But, hey, one can never be so sure. I remember the last time I encountered a fairy that was disguised as a child spirit and trusted that mother*ucker to get through the other side by just "eating the red apple, it will just get you where you envision to be".
Turned out it was a spell to get me to look like a rabbit. Fairies and their humor.
Hilarious.
Brushing that thought aside I looked at him and made sure to read his facial expressions. The man had a really good poker face. One of the best I've seen.
Gosh, I do not know why but that facial expression suited him, now that I was fully awake, I noticed his curly hair slightly wet and fresh out of a shower. Wait, if he was out of the shower - "What time is it? How long was I out?"
"Drink first, no poison on it. I won't harm you unless I'm forced to" If this was his way of treating women, I understood why he was still mate-less and already 27 years old. Some of them never learn. He looked at me while I swallowed the pill and drank the juice. To hell, if this was a trap, I was already in the wolf's house.
"Done, now answer me first, what is your name again?" I demanded. I saw something flicker in his eyes—a mix of amusement and irritation. Ah, I guess I am among the few who don't remember an alpha. How does it feel now, bad big wolf?
I hope it stinks.
"I am Sebastian, you were out for twelve hours, seemed like the dosis we gave you was a bit too much for your petite body to handle." He was smirking while saying that.
I tell you, smirking, making fun of the fact that maybe they almost left me in a comma by mistake.
Gosh, why did the Moon Godness put this man in my way?
I guess someone hates me up there.
"I can sue you for this, you basically drugged me and kidnapped me," I told him, getting up from the chair and closer to the windows. "The Institute will know about this and they won't be happy, I am a yellow-level witch and they do not play slightly with the ones who want to hurt us", that was kind of true, but he still did not know I was not in good terms with the Institute and well that I had just dropped out from their institution and therefore was forced to not use my real magic. But well, just small details.
If I just tuned into the power of the sunlight and the warmth of the heat then I have a chance to spell a transportation spell, just enough to get me out of the building.
