How familiar it all sounds to Dokja.
Dokja didn't even realize how his leg squeezed out bravery or even fear in the face a chance of losing this opportunity.
What if Cale disappears again?
Dokja took off, running, stumbling in his step.
Until his body hit the small lean body. A body that seemed so reliable in the past, the body Dokja had outgrown, still had the same fragrance sticking to Cale's skin.
The red hair that almost under his chin smelled familiar, soft to touch, and Dokja can't seem to let go. He smells not of lavender but of a real person, a real home.
Dokja's breath feels shaky yet relieved.
He didn't even notice how a sword flung to him.
Swit—!
The air was cut through, and a sharp end targeting the neck of Dokja soon–
Clang!
The sword, with shiny steel, was met with another sword that flew right to it, changing its track.
The pathetic sound of the sword's steel hitting the ground made the focus directed again.
Cale's hands slightly lowered as he nodded towards Hannah.
The sword that flung with such intensity was blocked, but that can't divert Cale's eyes from the lunatic gaze.
"..Ah, I missed."
Dokja had just turned to look at the commotion when he heard it.
Clopeh's disappointed yet toneless voice.
The eyes that looked at him as if he's a dirty piece of cloth, and the hand that twitched with itch to demolish and disfigured Dokja.
It gives him chills.
