Gaipa was lying on the couch, his head resting on his mother's lap. Her finger gently caressed his hair as she sang her favorite song. Gaipa looked so happy and at ease, it felt like heaven. After a few minutes had passed, he could no longer feel his mother's embrace. The room had become dark and silent. Gaipa got up from the couch and looked around, calling out to his mother, "Mom." There was no answer. As he walked, he noticed a blue light coming from another side. When he reached it, he realized it was no longer his house. It was a hospital, and his mother lay on a hospital bed. Gaipa reached out to his mother and called her again, "Mom." Still, there was no answer. "Mom, it's me, wake up," he pleaded. But there was still no response. "MOM, PLEASE WAKE UP!" Gaipa screamed, but once again, there was no answer. When he looked around, there was no one. His mother was gone, and all that remained was darkness. Gaipa screamed again, "MOM!!!!".

Gaipa wakes up with heavy breaths, panicked, scared, and covered in sweat. Gaipa sits down, breathing heavily. "Mom," Gaipa cries, still breathing fast, looking around and searching for something. Then he reaches for his necklace and holds it near his chest to calm himself down. His mom had gifted it to him when he was a child and told him that whenever he felt scared and weak when she wasn't there with him, the necklace around his neck would help calm him down whenever he held it tightly close to his heart. It meant his mother was always there with him. When Gaipa calms down after his nightmare, he looks outside his window and finds the light was still illuminated on the other side of his window. Gaipa feels like he isn't alone in this dark night; there is someone else too in his dark world.

"Gaipa" Leng had come into Gaipa's room and started calling for him. However, Gaipa was standing by the window, looking outside where Montow was sitting on Alan's house fence, playing with a ball. Leng called for him a few times, but Gaipa was so lost in thought that he couldn't hear Leng calling him.

"What's so interesting outside?" Leng shouted into Gaipa's ear, standing behind him like a ghost. This made Gaipa jump. "What the fuck, Lengggg!!!" Gaipa was holding his ear, which was still ringing.

"Well, you were so lost looking outside. I called you many times, but you didn't hear me."

"When did you come?" Gaipa asked, rubbing his ear.

"Just now," Leng said and looked around his room. "And your room is a mess. You need to clean."

"Have you seen your own room? It's messier than mine," Gaipa said, giving him a side-eye.

"Okay, okay," Leng said, then looked outside the window. He could see the lights next door and a cat sitting on the balcony, playing with a ball. "Did someone move here?" Leng pointed at the house.

"Yes, Mr. Alan moved here, and that's his cat," Gaipa said.

"Ohhh, really? Mr. Alan is your new neighbor? You should ask him to tutor you," Leng joked, as they all knew how bad Gaipa was with math.

"Mr. Alan, our neighbor, tutoring me sounds nice," Gaipa was muttering to himself.

"What?" Leng asked. He couldn't hear what Gaipa was muttering about.

"Nothing. Let's play a game, and I will order pizza," Gaipa said.

They played for four straight hours. Then Leng's mom called for him to come back home as it was getting late.

Gaipa and Leng were standing outside of Gaipa's house when Leng noticed Gaipa's father's car.
