Is it alright if tears trace my cheek,In this solitude, where silence speaks?
Does it matter if my spirit sighs,When unnoticed in the crowd, my presence denies?
I long for your gaze, a simple acknowledgment,Yet, you persist in silence, an endless torment.
Why does everyone look past my worth, Leaving me to question my place on this earth?
A couple of minutes, that's all I ask,Time slips away, a daunting, endless task.
In the void, I yearn for a comforting rhyme,Someone to hold me, whisper, "you're worth every time."
I ache for words, affirmations so true, "You deserve love, you're worthy, it's due."
Yet, those words elude, like the flight of a dove,
Am I truly that unworthy of love?
