5:30 am.

i wake up to my alarm beeping and groan at the thought of the first day of school. new building, new classes, new people. gosh, i'm not ready for this at all.

sighing, i put on some wide leg pale jeans with a brown belt as well as a v neck beige long sleeve shirt and tuck it in, wearing an unbuttoned sweater vest. i put on some eyeliner and some jewelry. gotta make a good impression, am i right?

walking down the stairs, i sigh and realize that my dads not home as usual. he left early for work i guess.....

i eat my breakfast, and before i know it its time to go to school. at 6:30, i head out of my house, locking the door behind me. coincidentally, my neighbors are leaving as well.

wow. they are stunning. i think. but then i shake my head. stop thinking these thoughts, i tell myself, you don't even know them and you should be focusing on school, not boys. plus, you barely know them. who knows? they could be total assholes.

one of them catches my eye and smiles at me, his eyes turning into little crescents and shimmering in the sunlight. caught off guard, i hesitantly smile back, although it's only a small smile.

i start walking towards the school and to my surprise, the boys are a few feet behind me, walking in the same direction as me.

hmm, i wonder if they are in the same school as me, and if so what grade??

shaking my head, i realize that i've arrived at the school and i open the door, holding it for the people behind me, and a very tall guy takes the door, flashing a handsome smile.

i briefly smile and then head into the front office, which wasn't that hard to find as it had a sign titled the front office. i head in, grab my schedule, locker number, and my locker combination. sighing, i head out, looking at my papers in confusion.

they didn't even give me the room numbers! i'm gonna get lost. the bell rings and i panic, not knowing where to go. but i see one of the three guys earlier talking to someone.

they're the only ones in the hallway so i being up the courage to talk to them and slowly walk towards their direction. they notice me and turn to look at me.

"um....hi, er, i'm new here, and i was wondering if you could help me get to my first class?? i'm a bit lost...heh.....," i asked.

one of them flashed me a sweet smile and said "of course! no problem! can we see your schedule though????"

i nod and hand them my schedule and he looks over it as well as the other guy.

"oh great! you share your first period class with both of us!" exclaimed the other guy, also in a thick accent, possibly australian...?

"and you share all your classes with me!" said the blond enthusiastically.

i flash them both a small smile which they return.

"i'm felix! and thats chan!" said the blonde, gesturing to the black haired boy. he smiles at me and they start walking me to the class, considering we're already late.

we arrive at the room and chan opens the door, felix and i walking behind him. the teacher pauses and looks at us.

"well hello chan, felix," she nods to them, soon after spotting me behind them. "oh! you must be the new student! it's a pleasure to meet you hun! akari right?" she exclaimed in a bright voice.

i nodded, "yeah, it's, um, a pleasure to meet you as well."

she smiles genuinely and looks around the classroom. coincidentally there is a seat right between chan and felix.

"ah! you can sit right over there, next to chan and felix!" she said, pointing in their direction.

i nod and walk down the aisle, sitting in the middle of chan and felix. i set my things down and lean against the back of my chair, slightly tense.

"yah! new girl!" i hear a voice behind me. i turn around and face to face with a boy.

"you look hot" he said, glancing down at my boobs and observing my figure with such intensity i felt uncomfortable. "wanna go out with me?"

shocked, i cross my arms over my chest and mumble "umm....i don't even know you...." i sigh and turn around, hearing him scoff.

i hear him say to his friends "she will regret not going out with me, i'm the hottest guy in school...." i raise my eyebrow because i've seen hella people who are hottter than him already.

looks like someone needs to lower their ego....

felix looks at me and says "ack, don't worry about him! just ignore him, he's a total idiot and so arrogant...." he rolls his eyes saying that last part.

"alright...thanks....but who is he exactly....?"

"he's haneul....he obviously has an ego and is very arrogant....yet he's still popular....but only because he's rich. no wonder why people don't hate him....anyways, like i said, just ignore him. he's a player and uses women......" felix frowns saying that last part.

i twist my face and think great. already in trouble with the popular kids.....hopefully haneul isn't that bad......

jumping out of my thoughts, i raise my eyebrows and thank felix for the advice.

a while later i ask "hey...can i ask you guys something???"

"mhm?" felix says while chan listens.

"how come you guys are in this korean class? you both sound fluent and have perfect pronounciation..."

"oh! we're actually both australian and went we came here they insisted on putting us in korean class. i didn't really need it, but felix did, however his korean was still pretty good before coming here." chan answered.

"ah....interesting..." fuck my korean is really bad i don't want to mess up in front of them and look like a total idiot.

"mhm!" felix agrees. "and if you ever need any help with korean, we're always here to help!" he exclaimed in a cheerful and friendly voice.

i flash a small smile at him. god he's so nice, he's a literal ball of sunshine.

*bring!!!!*

the bell rings, signaling that its time for period 2. hopefully this won't be too hard.
