-Tommy's POV-

I was just outside of where the old base was located. I looked around and saw a bike parked around an alleyway. I'm guessing that's Deo's. I parked my bike and headed inside. My heart pounded inside my chest as I thought about him. At some point in my life, Deo was the only family I had.

Then he and all the others were taken away. I had no clue if he was even alive. At least I could keep tabs on Bitzel and Luke but on him. It was impossible. I was at my lowest and they couldn't be there to help me. At least I found Toby. He and everyone else probably were the ones that saved me.

I continued my way toward where the common room used to be. I was quiet, even though I knew to trust Deo. There wasn't any proof that the person who wanted me here was Deo.  As I looked around the walls were destroyed. Bits of glass lay all around the room as I spotted the fireplace. Everything was just as broken as before, yet it felt different when my eyes landed on him. I felt my eyes open, it was real. I knew it was real and somehow I still couldn't believe it.

After 3 fucking years of nothing, not a single word, he was back.  He seemed looking at something and didn't realize I was there. It was like I was a spectator watching him. Time froze for me as I looked at him. He was slightly more buff and seemed maybe a little taller than I remember, but it was still him. It was Deo. He was there, my family, my brother, and the person I trusted the most in the whole world.

I wanted to cry and scream at the same time. My nails slowly started to dig into my skin. What should I say? What if I say the wrong thing? What if he doesn't trust me as much as he used to? My heart started to beat faster and faster, the feeling of pain in my palm rising the more I stared at him. Suddenly, he spoke.

"You know, a picture would last longer," I couldn't believe it. He turned around and I could look at his face. His brown hair was longer than I remember. His eyes were covered by some black sunglasses and he was wearing that stupid ugly orange shirt. He was definitely older, and more mature. We just stared at each other for a moment before I couldn't take it anymore.

I ran towards him. He opened his arms as we fell onto the floor embracing each other.

"I missed you so fucking much," I told him. I saw a tear roll down his face. We stayed like that for a while. No one spoke. It was just me and him. No one else. It reminded me of when we were kids. He hugged me after I did something stupid just in this case he was the stupid one.

"You dare do something like that again and I swear I'll put your head on a stick Deo." He laughed at that and we finally let go.

"Don't worry Sunshine I'm not counting on it" My mind stopped at the nickname. Something he used to call me when we were kids. It was so far off from what I had become, but it was still home. Deo was home.

"Hey, do you mind taking off the mask?" he asked quietly. I didn't really care. No one was here anyway. I clicked off the straps and took it off. He smiled and ruffled my hair. I tied the mask against my belt. We're just missing two more pieces and we're back on business.

"Let's get up kid, we need to figure this shit out" I looked at him. I was still dazed. All the memories, all the pain flooding back in. Even so, I still stood up.

"You see Bitzel only mentioned it existed I don't know how the hell it works" I looked at the fireplace. It was full of ash and dust.

"If you don't know then what the fuck am I supposed to do?" I said sarcastically.

"I don't know. I tried looking around to see if there was a lever of some shit. I didn't find anything"

"As if Bitzel would've made it so easy" I giggled at the thought. Bitzel loved making things overcomplicated.
