Quirks are Very rare around America during the time of Percy Jackson, some of the demigods started to develop quirks some were related to their godly parent and others powers just got more enhanced when they got there quirk. they knew that they would be able to blend in more in Japan and that it would most likely be safer for them. Shota aizawa or Nico D'Angelo was One of the first demigods to develop a quirk so he practice with it a lot and got a very good handle on it. hizashi Yamada or will solace got his a bit later on but still had a lot of time to practice before school started. After both of them had gotten their quirks and had done some practice with them they decided to move to Japan and try out for U.A. Together. Hizashi got into the hero Course were as Shota got into the general studies course and transferred to the hero course.
