Time Bomb

Intro

"So... where do you wanna sit?" Sky asks me. today is the first day of the second semester in FT high and today is the day we get a new seating chart. yay... anyway apparently MORE kids came into our school over winter break because of some mishap at our rival school... what was it... I think someone got the janitors keys,put weed in the vents, blah blah blah boring stuff about health risks. any way all of the tables were taken by the social groups coming in from their school.
"I honestly don't know... oh look! Zoe found somewhere to sit! Let's sit by her." I said. man Zoe was a popularity magnet. I was surprised she hasn't ditched us for the bees yet. oh,who are the bees? They are what you might call the popular kids. they label every group in the school, including ours. we are the rejects, I know catchy. the thing is whenever you refer to a group/person everyone always goes 'oh, witch Sarah?' And they respond with 'oh the one in the worms.' and they get it. if you don't understand yet I've made a mental list of what group name refers to what people.
Groups:
-the bees( populars)
-the worms(bookworms)
-the rejects(us, the small group of people without a group/social standing)
-the freaks(horror/creepy people)
-the mindless(the stupid people with no friends)
-the cave men(the not cute sporty people)
-the jock straps/jocks(the cute sporty people)
-the hood(cool getto people)
-San Francisco(LGBT friend groups)
-the amigos(the people who don't speak English)
-the dead(the 2nd hand popular people)

And that's all the ones I really know.
By this time Sky and I had reached the table that Zoe was sitting at, at that moment we realized that she was sitting next to her boyfriend and that it was in fact the swarm (the bees table)
"Hey Zoe gave you seen any free spots around the cafeteria? We can't seem to find some, at least, not remotely close to each other." Sky said. man, he saved us. if your wondering about the last part, don't worry, Sky and I aren't dating. we are just the closest friends in the friend group and prefer to be within earshot of each other most of the time and considering that the cafeteria is REALLY loud, that radius is pretty small.
"Why, you wanna sit next to your girlfriend?" Kevin, Zoe's stupid boyfriend asked. he had a deep, stupid sounding voice with an army style buzz cut. he was also really buff. basically the stereotypical popular, quarter back of the schools foot ball team, cheating, guy no one wants at their school.
"For the last time Kevin I'm not his girl friend." I said calmly. I've learned over 7 years of hell, aka school with him to NEVER EVER E.V.E.R yell at em'. he has some serious anger problems that you need to be weary of. let's just say he never gives out empty threats.
"Let's go... bye Zoe." I say as I drag Sky away. as we do I hear Kevin in the back round talking to the table of his slaves... And Zoe I guess.
"Those guys are L-O-S-E-R-S Zoe, why do you even hang out with em'? Wouldn't you rather hang out with the bees?"
"I talk to them because they are my friends. you have NO RIGHT to tell me who I hang out with and don't hang out with and you KNOW THAT KEVIN."
I heard Zoe say back. I'm pretty sure Zoe is the only person Kevin is afraid of.
~le time skip to after school~
"Wow that was a day of apsalute nothingness." I say as we all walk to Mitch's house. it's after school and we are heading to our usual after school meet up at Mitch's place.
"Why do we always have to do this? And why do they always go ahead of us?" Sky said with a bored look on his face. I guess I wondered that too about Mitch and Jerome but I had my suspicions.
~le time skip to Mitch's house~
Sky and I laughed and joked all the way here. when we walked in we were greeted by Mitch's mom
"Hello darlings! Would you want to stay for dinner, aye?" His mom said in her thick Canadian accent. his family had moved down here 10 years ago and still hadn't lost their accent, even Mitch still had a pretty thick Canadian accent for some reasons I'll probably never understand.
"Yes ms.flagg!" We both said. we loved ms.flagg' home cooking. she was a REALLY good chef.
" Oh by the way, aye, Mitch and his little friend Jerome are upstairs in es' room." ms.flagg said.
"Okay, thanks!" We said.
We ran up the stairs and opened the door to find Mitch and Jerome... making out?!
They looked at us in utter surprise and quickly pulled away from each other.
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"...It isn't what it looks like..." they both said.
"You guys are... together?" Sky asked quietly.
"...Yes..." they both responded quietly as well.
"I guess we've got some explaining to do..." Mitch said to his... boyfriend I guess? They did say they were together.
"Well... me and Mitch have been with each other for about 2...2 years..." Jerome said quietly while closing the door.
"I just wish you would have told us..." Sky said. it started to rain outside. we heard the distant thundering.
"We thought that maybe you guys wouldn't agree with us... even leave us... maybe... even...hurt us for being... you know..." they said quietly together.
"Gay" Sky said quietly. god this had become awkward. better fix it.
"Are you kidding? You guys will always be my best friends, I don't care what your sexuality is, what color you are, where your from, it's all the same to me. never forget that" I said as I envelop the three of them in a hug. they hug back.
"...Always... that great..." They said while looking at each other. Jerome planted a small peck on Mitch's cheek.
"Aye mate what the hell? Not in front of them..." Mitch said. Jerome smiled. for being 6'3" Jerome was a big softie.

"rejects!" We said as we let go of the hug, it had become a habit.
We said there for hours just chatting about the usual. in the middle me and Sky started to plan out Jerome and Mitch's wedding out loud while they both got some snacks for us. when they got back they started blushing like crazy when they heard us talking about their wedding. but Zoe never came, and lemme tell you, she missed out.

Do you think I should keep this a kinda one shot thing or continue? I really like the plot but I just wanna know if you guys would read it. bye~ :3
