Walking into the warehouse that day, I felt like I was about to lose my fucking mind. My body was on fire and my vision was blurry. I look around and see a bunch of soldiers in uniforms. I've come into the wrong warehouse. Oh no. Wait, maybe they could help me. Mark won't let me go so easily.

"Yoo aren't supposed too be here.", a heavily Scottish voice says.

I look and see a tall muscular man with a Mohawk coming towards me.

"P-please. Please help me. He's going to kill me.", I stutter out as my legs turn to jelly.

"Miss, this is no' the right place for yoo.", he says.

I stumble into his arms and I feel my stomach lurch.

"I'm gonna be sick.", I say.

This man yells out something and a garbage can is in front of me as he holds my hair. I empty the contents of my stomach into the trash and collapse to my knees. Tears are streaming down my face and I sit back. Someone gently wipes my face with a towel and I see a woman there.

"Kate she can't be here.", a gruff voice says.

"Price, look at her. She needs help.", the woman scolds.

The gruff man glares down at me and I shrink away and collide with something solid. I look to find the Scotsman. He's watching me and I hear someone calling my name outside. I recognize the voice as Rafael. I stagger to my feet and try to run but arms catch me. I struggle but the arms are solid.

"Calm doon, lass.", the Scotsman says.

"Please. Please don't let him know I'm here. I'm begging you. He's going to kill me.", I cry.

"Who is?", he asks.

"DESTINYYY!!!", Rafael yells.

"Him. Please. Don't let him know I'm here.", I plead.

He sets me down and has me face him and I beg, "I'll leave. I'll do whatever you want. Just don't let him get me."

The Scotsman is analyzing my face and looking into my eyes and nods.

"Johnny.", a deep British voice says.

"Take care of the man ootside. I'm going to help her clean up. She isn't here.", the Scotsman, Johnny, says.

The Scotsman guides me to a bathroom and locks the door. I take a seat on the closed lid of the toilet and my whole body is shaking. The water runs and I feel something soft yet wet touch my face. I jump and Johnny holds his hands up.

"Calm doon, lass. I'm trying to help clean yoo up.", he calmly says.

"J-Johnny.", I stutter.

He gives me a gentle smile and says,"Johnny MacTavish of the 141."

"D-Destiny S-Summers.", I stutter.

"Well Destiny, it's lovely to meet yoo.", he replies.

I blush and he gently cleans my face as we make small talk. He's mostly talking to me to calm me down and distract me. That much I do know. And it's working. He lets me clean my mouth out with some water and hydrogen peroxide thankfully.

"There yoo go. Now I see we need to bandage yer forehead and yoo should be right as rain.", Johnny says.

He gently cleans the cut on my forehead and I'm looking up at him. He's focused and I realize how incredibly breathtaking he is. Wait...no. I can't breathe. My hand lands on Johnny's chest and he stops looking down at me. I try to signal that I can't breathe and he understands. He throws open the door and carries me out there.

"I need some help ova here. She can't breathe!", he yells.

A table is cleared and I'm laid on it. A man with a skull mask comes over and he's looking me over. He puts his head to my chest and everyone goes quiet.

"I need to perform a thoracostamy or she will die.", he says in a gravelly British voice.

Everyone begins moving and I see Johnny coming by and I reach out grabbing his forearm. He freezes looking down at me and I plead with him with my eyes to stay.

"Johnny, stay with her. This little wolf has taken a liking to you.", the man says.

Johnny hands the man the equipment and he whips out a knife and comes towards me. I start to kick and try to scoot but Johnny holds me down.

"He needs to cut yer shirt open enough to perform the procedure.",  Johnny says.

The man comes over and my vision is getting blurry again. I grip Johnny's hand tightly and close my eyes. I just need a nap. Suddenly something stabs my chest and I can breathe . I shoot up gasping and am instantly pushed back down onto the table. I'm still taking deep breaths and look around. Hands frame my face and my eyes meet blue ones.

"Calm doon, lass. Breathe slowly.", Johnny says and I do as he says.

"That's a good lass. Slow breaths new.", Johnny says giving me a smile.

"What happened?", I manage to ask.

"We are hoping you can tell us.",the man says.

"Ghost.", Johnny says sternly.

"Boys stop it you're scaring her.", the woman, Kate, says coming into view.

"Johnny.", I say.

"Yes lass.", he says.

"I can't go to a hospital. They will find me there.", I say.

"Who?", he asks.

"Mark Shepherd and his crew.", I say.

Everyone goes quiet and I ask,"Can I sit up with this thing or do I need to have surgery?"

"They need to perform surgery. I'll have a surgeon come here." , Kate says.

Ghost attaches a clear tube to the tube in my chest and fluid comes out. There's some pain and I try to reach for my wallet but wince.

"Don't move, lass.", Johnny says.

"My wallet and my phone.", I say.

Johnny lifts me up and Ghost takes my phone and wallet out of my back pockets.

"You'll find my I.D., my credit card, and all my contacts. Unlock code is 6661.", I say.

Ghost gives me a look and I say,"You look like soldiers so I'm assuming you want to do a background check.", I say and wince as I breathe.

Ghost hands my stuff to the man who glared at me earlier.

"My name is Destiny Summers. My ex...well...he's the leader of the Faceless Cartel.", I say.

"That's impossible. The Faceless Cartel are notorious for remaining in the shadows. They don't let anyone from the inside out of their sights.", Kate says.

"They didn't. I ran.", I say.

A car can be heard out front and I try to sit but Johnny puts a gentle hand on my shoulder. A man in a lab coat walks in and he cleans his hands before he puts gloves on.

"Not the most sterile place boys.", he says.

I look at Johnny and he gives my shoulder a gentle squeeze.

"I'm Doctor Burkehart. I'm going to go ahead and put you under sweetheart. Just long enough for me to perform the surgery.", the man says.

I look at Johnny and plead,"Don't leave me. Please. Don't leave me alone. He will find me. He will kill me."

"I won't leave you lass.", Johnny says.

"Promise me? Promise me, you will be here til I wake up.", I ask as the man sticks a needle in my arm.

"I promise.", Johnny says.

"Don't leave me. Don't let him...get...me.", I say as I slip into unconsciousness.
