Lights
Lights can be blinding sometimes. It makes us feel wanted and seeks for more attention. All my life, I've been living with those lights. Whenever I go, flashes of camera and the blinding spotlights always find it's way to me.
Maybe because I was born to be on that spotlight. Having an influential family and popularity almost blinding me to understand that there is a beauty behind those lights.
And sad to say, I take that for granted..
Flashes of camera's blinded my sight as I stood up in front of the famous brand, I am endorsing. I am going to collaborate with Cartier and it was an honor to make business with them and I can't help to smile widely as I look straight into the lenses of their camera.
"Ms. Venice here!." The photographer called.
I glanced at him and angled my face to emphasize my jaw and lift my head up like a royalty.
"Smile Ms. Venice! Beautiful!." I heard them shouted.
I chuckled and tucked my hair behind my left ear as I wave my hand gracefully.
I never knew, this day would come. That I can be successful without the help of my parents influenced in the fashion industry. This is a dream come true. A dream that I never regret achieving in my life.
Some people believed that I got the popularity because of my mother. Since, she was a retired supermodel and an actress in New York before. However, I know it wasn't because of her influence. I worked hard for it. I worked hard to claim this spot and it was all because of me.
"This way Ms. Venice." The director said as he guided me inside where the fashion show is about to start.
I am a VIP guest that's why they guided me to sit in the front row. There's so many influential celebrities and vloggers present on the show and I can't help to wave at them as they glanced on my side.
"Hi Venice. Omg! You look so wonderful!." Chloe muttered, a well known actress in the Hollywood.
Tumayo ako at nakangiting nakipag besohan sa kaniya. "You too Chloe. You're beautiful as always." Ganti kong saad.
Umupo siya sa tabi ko habang hawak ang basong may laman ng alak sa kaniyang kaliwang kamay.
"I heard so many things about you sweetheart and oh my gosh, did you just collaborated with the Chanel. I heard about the new luxurious jewelry design you made and it was a limited edition!." She said shockingly.
I chuckled with the compliment and smirk. Yes. I own a business. A.V jewelry is my own business who put me on the top and be able to collaborate with some luxurious brands around the world. Sadly, my contract with Chanel is already done.
Actually, I only designed necklaces. And I tell you, it wasn't just a simple necklace because the materials I used were diamonds, golds, and even sapphire stones. "Thank you Chloe. You should buy it. I just released the design recently before my contract ends so you can purchase it anytime." I said.
She groaned frustratedly. "Speaking of that, it was a freaking sold out! Can't you believe it. I drop by on the Chanel store yesterday to buy the necklace but it was already out of stock. Goodness.." she said and drank her wine abruptly.
