I took a deep breath and approached him. "Jake..." He turned around looking at me coldly. "What" "H-happy b-b-birthday."

When I turned around I saw Yu Jin holding a box with a bow on it. "What" I said to her. "H-happy b-b-birthday." I felt my heart burst when she said those two words. She knows my birthday... SHE KNOWS MY BIRTHDAY!!! I broke out of character and started blushing and smiling. "Thank you, Yu Jin..." "H-here's your present, I thought really hard on w-what y-you wanted... I know tomorrow's actually your birthday but...here." When I looked inside the box I felt my heart burst. Again. It was a matching ring that had Jake on her ring and Yu Jin on my ring. "I love it Yu Jin!" "But... why would you think I want a matching ring with you?" "I-I don't know... Hitomi just told me to get it. All I did was buy it and told the designer what the design Hitomi wanted to tell her..." "Thank you very much Yu Jin. "You're welcome..."
-Yu Jin's POV-
I was so relieved when he said he loved it. But I felt something else, it happened again, the feeling I had the other day. Butterflies in my stomach. "Shall we put it on?" "Huh?" I snapped back into reality and answered his question. "Uh, yeah, we can." "Do you wanna put it in our ring finger?" "Sure" I answered him being oblivious anout what he said when he wanted to put the ring on our ring finger. "Oh yeah, I'm hosting my birthday party tonight and I was gonna ask you if you wanna come, it's at 19:00PM." "I don't know..." "Oh, okay well thanks for the matching rings." "You're welcome..."

As I got home from the academy, I looked at the time and it was already 18:30PM. I suddenly remembered about Jake's birthday and I started getting ready. Hitomi said that the dress code was fo be very formal since Jake's parents wanted it to be perfect and beautiful. I didn't ask my family if I could go because they weren't home and even if I asked them something whenever they're not home then they would punish me for not being independent and interrupting their business.

After I got ready I put my shoes on and went into the taxi and told him the address to Jake's house. On the way there I was looking at the matching ring I have with him. While I was staring at the ring I realized that it was on the ring finger. I blush when I recalled the sentence he said when I asked him which finger he wanted to put our rings on. How was I so oblivious when he said he wanted to put it on the ring finger...? "Young lady? You're at your destination." "Oh...gamsahabnida samchon..." I got out of the car and I saw his house filled up with people who looked very attractive with their ball gowns and suits. "YU JIN?!" "Hi Jung Won." "I thought you weren't going to come tonight?" "I...changed my mind..." "That's good, let's go inside the house with the others." "Hi Yu Jin!" They all said. "Hi..." I replied back. After I got settled in I looked at the clock and I asked Ni Ki oppa where Jake was. "Um, where's Jake?" "He's upstairs talking to some guest." "Okay, thank you..." I went upstairs to go to him because I wanted to give him another birthday gift that couldn't be messed up or else I would be more than embarrassed. When I reached the last step I saw him finishing up a conversation with an elder women. I walked up to him and asked him if I could talk to him for a second. "Jake..."

"Yu Jin! You changed your mind." "Yeah..." "Um, can I talk to you for a second?" "Yeah, sure!" We went to the balcony that the city lights could be seen. It was really beautiful. We continued on looking at the city lights in silence. It wasn't an awkward silence though, it was more comfortable and relaxing. "What time is it...?" He turned to me and said "23:57PM" We stared at the stars for that long????This is my cue. You can do this An Yu Jin! Give him the gift that you hope you will never regret giving to him!" "Jake..." "Yes Yu Jin?" I took a deep breath and started to tell him what I have been wanting to tell him ever since the party at Sung Hoon's house 6 months ago. "Jake, at first I didn't know what I was feeling in my stomach was that night at Sung Hoon's house but over the 6 months of trying to figure out what I was feeling, I found out that it was something like what they call butterflies in your stomach. That's what I was feeling every time I saw you or if anything had something to do with you. At first, I was very scared of what will happen if you accepted me because of what happened to me and Ji Hyuk. But...now that I think about it, I know that you wouldn't dare to lay a fiber on me if you were to hurt me. After the times of us being together and getting matching rings and putting it on our ring finger, I realized that I would very much want to spend the rest of my life with you until I die. I felt him freeze and when I was going to pull away I felt his hand pull back my waist and kissed me again. Not only hearing fireworks but I felt fireworks exploding inside of me.
"I love you Sim Jae Yun..." He looked at me with the biggest smile I ever saw from him. "I love you too Sim Yu Jin." I blush at his words and hugged him. "That was the best birthday gift ever with it happening at 00:00AM and the fireworks exploding outside and inside of me...."
