I knew I was pushing it. Natasha was more than fed up with what I was currently doing, but I couldn't help myself. The first instance happened more than two weeks ago, she had just come back from a two month mission and she was tired and irritable, all she had wanted to do was collapse in her bed and hug me to her chest, but I...well, I had other plans for the red head. For the two months she had left for a long overdue mission she had left me in the care of the remaining Avengers as she was worried what would happen if she were to leave me in our apartment alone. Last time she left me alone I had nearly burnt down the apartment. And so I spent most of my days hanging out with Loki, his brother Thor and the young and over excited spider, Peter, so I was more in a joking mood when Natasha came home than usual, but it was mainly due to the fact that I had agreed to a bet I had made with the two gods and the young kid. The bet was basically about whether or not Natasha would wring my neck after I had gone two weeks by pranking her constantly and who could do it the longest before she snapped. Loki had been the first one to be reprimanded by the red head, closely followed by Thor and now it was just myself and Peter left running for the bet.

I already knew what I was planning on doing once Natasha walked through the door of our apartment. A pillow fight. Natasha despised anything to do with pillow fights and told me to never do one with her. I ignored her, that was my first mistake. The second was when I branded the pillow and striked the red head while she was trying to cook our dinner. Natasha only needed to turn around slowly, spoon still in hand and narrow her eyes at me for me to audibly gulp. That was when I knew I had overstepped.

I took a step back, dropping the pillow to the floor I listen to Natasha speak, her voice deathly calm,

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, what did I tell you, detka?"

My eyes widened as the older woman placed the spoon down, turning the gas off for the stove she faced me fully and before she could say anything else to me, I sprinted from the room with the pillow in my arms towards our bedroom. Closing the door behind me I readied myself for the arrival of the red head. As I hid underneath the bed I tried calming myself down, only to fail miserably as I heard the incoming footsteps of Natasha as she opened the door to the bedroom, her figure and shadow coming towards me as the door closed behind her. I only heard her soft chuckle as she whispered, her voice sultry and a hint of lust hidden deep beneath her voice,

"Oh where can my little kotenok be? I'm so lost."

That's not good. Not good at all. I hunker back farther deep underneath the darkness  and shadows of the bed, only for me to let out a yelp as I feel something grip my ankle, yanking me out from the bed I fling my foot into the person's face with a flurry of motion, hearing them grunt I push myself away from them, only to land face first into the carpet. I groan, whining as I rub my face, the familiar itchy feeling overwhelming my senses like it always does after I touch something I don't particularly like. I tear up, sniffling a little bit I touch my red and irritable nose only to whine softly as I sit on the carpet, not realizing the incoming doom coming towards me from behind, until I feel a soft pillow hit the top of my head.

I let out a soft grunt, flinging the pillow in my hand behind me I take satisfaction from the grunt and thud from behind me, making sure that Natasha's okay I nod my head when I confirm that she is as I run out of the door, only to hear the doorbell to our apartment ring. Rushing towards the door, while still trying to comfort my nose I fling the door open, seeing Yelena I grin. Without allowing her a moment to ask me anything I hide behind her, just in time to see a red faced Natasha rush towards I stand, giggling behind Yelena.

Yelena furrows her eyebrows, asking Natasha,

"Nat, why does Y/n have a red nose?"

I rub it, only to whine again as I begin to itch the irritated spot with fury. Yelena sighs, grabbing my hands she stops my itching as I whine at her, only for her to shake her head as she says,

"Natasha, where's the cream she likes?"

Natasha only tilts her head in confusion, until I stare at her, my eyes tearing up as her eyes widen as she swears slightly underneath her breath,

"Shit. Hold on."

With that she bolts towards our bedroom, leaving me with Yelena as she guides me inside the apartment, her warm and soft hands still holding my own as she closes the door behind her. I wiggle my nose as I allow Yelena to guide me into the living room, turning on the TV she sits next to me on the couch as she continues to hold my hands, when Natasha rushes in, sitting next to me on my other side she takes a hold of my hands from Yelena, kissing my knuckles she dips her fingers into the cream, rubbing it across my nose she sighs as she whispers,

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you, sweetheart."

I only hug her, allowing her to kiss me as she comforts me. Maybe this was a bad idea, this whole pillow fight thing.

I lie in bed, next to Natasha as she allows me to snuggle up next to her, only for her to whisper into my ear,

"I know about the bet darling and because of that I'll let you off this time, as long as you share your winnings with me, also I don't want anyone else winning a bet concerned with me except my little girl. Okay?"

I gulp, nodding my head in understanding only for her to smirk as she chuckles, kissing my forehead she sighs as she says, closing her eyes in bliss,

"I love you so, Y/n Y/l/n, but you can be such an annoying person sometimes."
