It's about 8am and Crystal was just waking up. After meeting with all 3 couples last week, she was more than prepared for this retreat today. She loved her job, it could be a bit challenging and triggering for her sometimes because shes 2 years divorced from her ex husband, basketball star Kevin Durant. Some of these problems she hear at work definitely reminds her of what used to be. Their 2 children/twins Camryn and Casey Durant stayed with Crystal full time. It was almost like he tried to forget them and her.
Crystal: - entering the girls room - Y'all have to get up! Papa will be here soon to pick y'all up and I want y'all to promise me not to give him no trouble these next 2 weeks.
Camryn: - stretching, rolls her eyes - We're 10, we should not need papa to watch us still, don't you trust us?
Casey: She trust me! It's you that's the problem! - throws a pillow at her -
Crystal: See how y'all act? This is why y'all need a babysitter. Get up and get ready please! - walks out -
It was a constant war in Crystals house with the 2 girls. They bumped heads daily and they sometimes could get a little carried away with talking back, but they knew not to go to certain lengths with their mother.
After the girls got themselves ready, Crystal made their breakfast and packed their bags. Once her father came to pick them up she packed her bags and waited for the van to arrive because she was getting picked up first for the road trip to the cabin.

Devale: I'll call you back, Kay just walked in. - quickly hangs up the phone - Hey baby.
Khadeen: Hey, who was that?
Devale: Oh that was just Dino, she was letting me know about the tour dates for our podcast. - stands up, kisses her cheek -
Khadeen: Oh okay, you ready to get on the road? The van should be here in about 10 minutes.
Devale: - sighs - I don't understand why we have to do this anyways, our marriage is just fine.
Khadeen: Because I need to get to the bottom of what really made you cheat on me, that shit still hurts me. - voice starts cracking - I know that you said you were just drunk but drunk behavior does what a sober mind wants to.
Devale: Have I ever cheated on you, besides being intoxicated to the point I couldn't stop myself? No I haven't, why? Because that's not what I ever wanted to do and I've apologized several times baby.
Khadeen: I still think this retreat will be good for us. It'll be us and 2 other couples, we can get some advice and also give some. Maybe it's what we need plus the free added on counseling for 2 weeks babe it's a good deal.
Devale: I don't think so but if that's what you want to do, I guess I have no choice but to be your plus one. I still think it was something off about that counselor lady.
Khadeen: Devale please! She's the best in Atlanta and besides I couldn't tell with the way you were staring at her.
Devale: Wasn't nobody staring at her I was just trying to figure out how someone who's divorced can help us with anything.
*beep beep*
Khadeen: Saved by the bell! Come on grab the bags.

Kj: - laying on top of Skyh kissing on him - We have .... 15.... Minutes ..... How about a quickie?
Skyh: - rubbing on her ass, slides her dress up - Mm, I like the sound of that.
Kj starts to feel him up and she took a pause when she noticed he wasn't even hard or turned on.
Kj: You don't love me anymore, do you?
Skyh: I do baby! Stop that please, I don't know what's gotten into me lately it's like it just won't get up.
Kj: We never had this problem before you went on your guys trip! Did you cheat on me in Vegas?
Skyh: Really? Get off me please.
Kj: I mean what else am I supposed to think? You've been back all of 2 months and you haven't touched me and if we'd try you don't get excited like you used to.
Skyh: Men go through this at points in their lives! I'm trying to fix it and figure it out but instead of you being supportive, you're acting like a real asshole.
*beep beep*
Kj: We have to go! ~ rolling her eyes -

Driver: We have one more couple to pick up, Tyler and Miracle.
Crystal: I'm very intrigued about the two of them. I've never done pre marriage counseling before.
They arrived at their last stop and they were ready to hit the road. 22 hrs later they arrived in Colorado. There were 2 cabins on the mountain they were at. One was set up for crystal to do individual and group sessions with each couple and the other was set up for them to stay in. During this trip everyone had to sleep in separate rooms no exceptions. This was apart of the retreat rules. Crystal made this rule because she realized a lot of couples hide their problems or try to fix them with sex, so keeping everyone separate would help better with their sessions and getting out their feelings.

Crystal: Okay everyone, your doors have been labeled with the names of each of you. You will not be in the same room as your partner nor will you be in a room next to them. Locate your space and get unpacked and settled in and meet me back down here in 30 minuets.
Everyone went off and found their rooms settling themselves in before meeting back downstairs.
Crystal: Okay so, - takes a deep breath - before we get into our separate group sessions which will consist of the men and the women separately for the first day. I'd like you guys to know that this is your safe space. Nobody here is judging you and you're all here for the same reasons. Marriage can be tough and in order to survive it you have to have some sort of guidance. Now before we get started for today I would like each of you to go one at a time and state your names and what brings you here. - points at Devale - We can start with you and go down the line.
Devale: My name is Devale Ellis and I'm here because my wife forced me to be here honestly.
Khadeen: - rolled her eyes - I'm Khadeen Ellis and we're here because he's been unfaithful.
Devale: Once!
Crystal: Okay, that's enough. - points at Miracle - You next.
Miracle: My name is Miracle Watts and I'm here because my fiancé tends to tell a lot of untruths.
Tyler: I'm Tyler Lepley and honestly she's insecure and that's all it is to it I've always been nothing but honest to her.
Miracle: - chuckles -
Kj: I guess I'll go, I'm Kj Black and we just don't have sex any more and I can't bring myself to understand why.
It got quiet and Skyh was just staring.
Crystal: Would you like to take your turn?
Skyh: - clears throat - Um ... I'm Skyh black and I'm here because I ... well I think I have an attraction to men.
