Kennedy

I curled my brunette hair and danced to the background music with my two friends, Carlie and Jasmine.

"Do you think there's going to be any rich guys there?" Carlie, who was newly single, smiled. Carlie was in a long-term relationship for 5 years and unfortunately got dumped for someone who was a complete and utter slag. Jasmine and I still bitch about how we will kill him.

I laughed and shrugged. I've basically been single my entire life; would it be good to find someone? I smirked and shook my head. The taxi was coming soon, so I grabbed my phone and stopped the music, which made Jasmine sip a bit of her rum and coke and scream.

"Let's go, girls," she said, dancing towards the door, making us laugh.

I have never been the one to go to clubs or dress up before meeting Jasmine and Carlie; in fact, I hate it. I would rather sleep or read a book. Opening the door and feeling the cold air hit my legs and arms, making me shiver, my petite figure in my pink dress made me feel confident.

As the taxi stopped outside the club, it looked crowded and overwhelming. My anxiety started to set in, and I took a couple of deep breaths.

Carlie got out of the line and walked towards the bodyguard like she knew him—maybe a new one-night stand "Sorry Carls, we are quite full tonight. We've got the Russi family in tonight as well." Carlie sighed and looked at her phone while I was watching Jasmine take a swig of vodka from her bag.

Carlie did her puppy eyes towards the bouncer, and he sighed and eventually let us in. "You owe me one baby," he smirked, making Carlie blush. I was taken back from the whole situation. Is she finding someone already? How cute.

I walked past the bouncer and smiled at him, and he stood like a robot, like he didn't want to acknowledge me.

"Sorry, Carlie, who is that?" Jasmine stopped at the entrance, and Carlie looked back and smirked.

"Nobody, let's go dance," she said as she walked towards the bar to get a drink.
As I looked up at the VIP section, I could see four husky-looking men sitting around a table with strippers on either side of them.

They weren't paying attention to the strippers at all, but there were girls trying to get up to see them, which made me confused. Carlie took a sip of her drink and spoke up, "Did you hear that Rico Russi actually got a girl pregnant and dumped her the next day?" I looked at her. How did she know that?

"He's seeing someone else now; I think her name is Anna. I hope he doesn't get her pregnant." Jasmine smirked and held my hand over to the colourful dance floor.

As I danced and sipped a beer, I threw my head back and crashed into a guy. I froze in fear, walked away from the two girls that were dancing, and bumped into someone else. I looked up to see the same bouncer that Carlie flirted with. Shit, I am about to get thrown out. Can I reject them if they tell me to leave? "Sir Enzo Russi requests that you come over." He looked scared. He then started slightly ushering me towards the fancy and intimidating VIP bit.

I sat on the very edge of the couch as the four of them looked at me. It was like a job interview.

"Hello, sweetheart," the brunette one smiled, and the blonde-haired one looked at me with questioning, then back at the raven-haired one.

"Hello?" I questioned what I was even doing here.

The blonde one budged up next to me, leaving me no space and too slightly falling off the couch, but managed to stand up in time.

"Okay, well, bye." What is happening?

"No, beautiful, that was a hint to sit next to Enzo," he smirked, and Enzo got up to grab my arm to pull me onto his lap.

He slightly sniffed my neck, probably inhaling my expensive perfume.

"Sei bello"—what does that even mean?
