"How did you two even get here?" Gregory then asked me, narrowing his eyes at Roxy for a moment. Roxy clutched the red bag tightly and let her ears droop.
"We...we drove here in a van." I said to him. "We had to drive away quickly...because the red-eyed thing found us."
