"Finally" I sighed
"We are here"
I was still sad about the whole Ryder thing and multiple times have I tried to texted him but all times I failed.
Ugh I hate this place, then again I hated every place that wasn't the city

I got hopped out of the car hoping to stretch after that terribly long car ride, but no of course that wasn't the case.

"Hey neighbor" a boy shouted
I turned around to see who was greeting me. I had a half smile on my face ready to greet the new hopefully cute boy who was on the other side of the fence but, when I turn my face went dead. I saw a flash of joy sparkle in his perfect green eyes and he was smiling from ear, his perfect white teeth sparkled, yep definitely a player. A look of shear terror ripped through my face. I whipped myself back around so all he could see was my long brown hair with my floral crop top and my high waisted black shorts. "gotta hide, gotta hide, gotta hide" I mumbled under my breath as I whipped my head left to right looking for a place to hide. I found a bush and dove behind it. Crouching behind that small ass bush hurt my legs then They already were.
" Sophie ?" My mom questioned and looked at me like I just escaped from a mental hospital. I looked at her bug eyed waving my hands around my nexk horizontally.
She stared at me confused and after awhile a light bulb finally flashed and she just walked into the house and I mouthed thank god.
"Sophia Brooks I know you're begin that bush"
Shit
" Um....(cough) I think you have the wrong person my name is Sophie.... Um......" I looked around a laided my eyes on an apricot tree and then I finished after a long pause"... Apricot"
"Okay sure, but-"
"SOPHIE" my mom yelled from inside the new house that was never going to be my home.
Oh thank god, I thought, saved by the mom.
"Coming" I yelled back I sprang up from the bush and sprinted into the house.
That boy was Wesley Daniels and thank god my mom got me out of that.
He was my ex-boyfriend from middle school.
This was going to be a very long year
