Raven stumbled through the unfamiliar city, somewhere in Russia. With one hand on her bleeding abdomen, she tried to make her way out of the city and hopefully find some sort of vehicle to get her out of here.

She had been on a mission to gather Intel on Makarovs current location, when they were ambushed.

Already injured she had tried to make her way back to the RV point, when she heard Soap over the comms ask about her
"Price, what about Raven? We don't know where she is."
"No time, we need to get out of here. She won't make it here, she's injured too bad."

They didn't know, that she had been listening and was on their way to them. They hadn't even checked how badly injured she had been.

Still she hoped, that as soon as the situation would calm down, they would come and look for her. Price wouldn't leave anyone behind, right? She asked herself.

Still Raven felt betrayed that they had just left her behind, in a country which language she didn't understand, in a city where she didn't know who was one of Makarovs men or just a civilian.

Both of her hands were soaked in her blood and she felt her conscience slipping. Soon she found a dark alleyway and slid down the wall to sit down on the ground. Where she slid down, she left a trail of blood, which began dripping down the wall and onto the ground.

She could hear dogs barking in the distance.

Her eyes closed and she groaned in pain. She didn't know how much blood she had lost or even how many wounds she really had.

A few minutes later, she could hear footsteps coming closer and someone shouting something in russian. She didn't know what the person said and frankly she didn't care anymore.

Soon more people were around her and she opened one of her eyes. The crowd parted and the man they had been looking for, was now standing over her.

The man chuckled and crouched down next to her, before saying something in Russian, which once again, she couldn't understand. After a moment, he repeated himself in English
"Look what we have here. Never thought I would see Captain Price leaving someone behind."

With all strength Raven could muster, she opened her eyes and spat out
"They will come back for me. And when they do, it's over for you", her voice came out weaker than she had hoped and the man over her chuckled darkly again.

"Do you really think that? It seemed like they were glad to get rid of you. They decided that pretty quick, don't you think, Fay?"

She froze and looked up at the man that stood over her. Everyone called her Raven. She was pretty sure that only Price knew her real name, so how did the man knew her name?

He held out his hand and chuckled
"They betrayed you. Don't you see that? They don't care about you and are glad that you're gone."

Raven spat out some blood that had gathered in her mouth and just stared back. She knew that he was right, she had heard the tone with which Price had responded to Soap earlier. They didn't care about her and she knew that. From the first interaction she had with the Task Force, she felt unwelcome.

She had shaken the feeling off and tried to prove herself. She rarely slept, spent most of her time training and volunteered for the hardest missions, but they still treated her like garbage. Even when she saved them from enemy snipers.

"You know I'm right. You can't deny it. Join me and you will get your revenge", the man said, still holding his hand out towards her

She groaned in pain and decided that it would be her only option, if she didn't want to die here. So she slowly nodded and grabbed his hand.
