Bliss

chapter 1

"Carsyn come on we are gonna miss our flight!"

"I'm coming." I yell down to Harper. I run down the stairs and jump into the car with my mom and Harper.

"Have your passports?" My mom asks.

"Yes." we awnser at the same time.

"I want a phone call right when y'all get to your hotel." my mom says as she pulls out of the drive way.

"Are you nervous about the flight?" I ask Harper.

"A little, are you?"

"Yeah, I'm actually really scared." I say.

"Don't worry you girls will be ok." My mom says as we pull into the airport. I kiss her goodbye and me and Harper walk over to the the counter to buy our tickets.

"That will be 234 dollars and 27 cents and your flight is at gate 2."

"Thanks." We both say.

"Gate 2 is now boarding." Says a woman over the intercom.

"That's us let's go." I tell Harper.

"What's your seat number?" I ask Harper.

"15" I say.

"Mines 14, good we are sitting together." She says.

"Please buckle you seat belts, we are about to take off." The pilot says over the Mic.

Harper grabs my hand.

"I'm a little more nervous than I thought." She says.

"So am I, I'm just ready to get to Seattle." I say, leaning my seat back a bit.

"What time is the concert tomorrow?" She asks.

"7:30." I answer.

"Alright we can get some sight seeing in." She says leaning her seat back and we both fall asleep till we land.

As we leave the airport I grab a map of the area and some pepsis from the vending machine.

"Let's go to the hotel first and then we can go get so dinner, this map says there's a really good restaurant right next to our hotel." I tell Harper.

"Alright."
We get into our hotel room unpack and I call mom.
"Hey mom, we just walk into our hotel."

"Did the flight go smoothly?" She asks.

"Yeah mom, I'm starving though. I'll call you tomorrow. I love you. Bye." I say.

"I love you too." She says and hangs up.

"Ready to go eat?" Harper asks me.

"Yeah let's go I'm starving."
