Wally was staring at his bedroom ceiling thinking, contemplating. " What is this feeling? Why do I feel this way? This feeling is wrong, I'm dating Artemis and he is Barbara. Why now? Is it because I haven't seen him in so long?"All of these thoughts ran though his head. It was the first time in 3 years he had seen Robin. He hadn't felt this way since then.
Robin was having his weekly dinner with Bruce. Bruce noticed he was not totally there today. " Penny for your thoughts? " he heard Bruce say." What if I said I had feeling for someone. Would you say it is to soon to like someone. After all Barbara did just break up with me?" There was a long pause, then Bruce spoke up. " It depends on the person. Honestly Dick what brought this to your attention?" Dick thought for a moment. Did he want Bruce to know the truth." And Dick don't think about lying I know when you're lying." " I saw Wally last week before the break up last week. It got me thinking I've never felt the way I feel about wally with anybody. Not even Barbara. Bruce I think I'm bi." Bruce looked at Dick with a knowing look. " Dick you've been honest with me now it's my turn. I've known you are in love with Wallace, I caught you multiple times sneaking into his room when you had nightmares, and I'm going to tell you what else I know, don't let love slip past you by, because you will regret it. Every time I look at your other father I almost regret not saying something sooner, but then I don't because I look back and I wouldn't change a moment I have spent with Clark. last but not least Dick go get your superman." With that last peace of information Bruce got up and went to go find Clark.
Artemis was walking home from meeting Barbara. She was thinking about what she was just told." Did she really love wally? Did she like boys at all?" She had made her decision. She was going to do it when she got home.
Wally heard the front door open. He didn't move, he didn't want to face the reality that was his life. In the hours he laid there in bed, he came to the realization that he was indeed in love with Robin. He hadn't gotten up all day, that means he hadn't eaten anything. So when Artemis comes into their bedroom, she freaks out wally looks like death itself. So she asked he what happened said he hadn't eaten anything. She got him a chocolate bar and then sat him down. It was time. They say at the same time " I have something to tell you." Wally lets Artemis go first considering he was going to break-up with her." So, Wally I'm going to tell you something and I'm not sure how you're going to feel. But Wally we have to break up. I love you Wally but like in a best friend way." She was going to continue, but Wally interrupted." Well your making this extremely easy for me. Artemis I'm going to tell it to you straight, I realized that I'm in love with Robin." Artemis was flooded with relief." Good because I don't swing the way I thought. I'm going to start dating Barbara."Wally called Robin that night asking if he could meet him the next day.
Robin was waiting outside a restaurant for Wally. For a person with super speed he was always late. When he got there they went inside and were immediately seated even though they didn't have reservations. That was a perk of being the kin of Bruce Wayne and the next owner of Wayne Enterprize They had some friendly banter. Then things got serious quickly." Dick." Wally said and Dick knew he was talking business because Wally never called him Dick it was always Rob or Robin." Yes Wally?" Wally took a deep breath and continued." Dick I love you. I always have but didn't realize it till I saw you again last week." Dick stopped him by reaching up and taking off his sunglasses. Wally has never seen his eyes, I know loving someone but never seeing their eyes it's crazy, but not to Wally. Wally was stuck in awe, Dick's eyes were an unnatural piercing blue. Wally couldn't understand why someone with such eyes would cover them up all the time. "Wally, I love you too and this is me catching my superman." Wally was confused at the superman comment but the Dick reached across the table and kissed him softly. Wally made a mental note to ask about the superman thing later.
6 months later-
Wally and Dick were walking in the park that Batman and The Flash used to let them play in for being good in the watchtower. Then Wally stops at the swing set and get down on one knee. "Dick I've loved you since we played on these swing sets after sitting in the watchtower all day, and now i want to swing into a new stage of our lives. Will you marry me?" At this point Dick was in tears. Then he gently slammed his lips to his boyfriends. After a few minutes when by Wally pulls away." So that's a yes then?" Dick says " yes."
They live happily ever after with 4 kids.3 boys 1 named Barry after Kf's favorite uncle and superhero, 1 named Bruce after the bat and 1 named Robin after his fathers first superhero alias and their little girls is named AB, which is short for Artemis Barbara after the 2 people that helped them see the light. 2 have super speed, 1 can fight just like Robin and their lovely little girl is a pro gymnast by day and a mix of both of her fathers abilities by night.
