The bell rings. Everyone is looking at you. Everyone is around you. Everyone hates you. You have a headache. Are you dreaming? Maybe. You get your things and book back out of the locker. That's weird, the lockers are bright pink and green, in fact, everything is bright and colorful. It's giving you a severe headache. Everyone gets closer to you, they get closer and closer and closer, until... another bell rings, and Seo wakes up.

"W-what the fu-" Seo says exhausted, like he hasn't slept in a month, but he's cut off by his alarm  and his mom screaming at him, "Get up before I smash a chair over your head!" Seo gets up and turns off his alarm. He still has a severe headache from that dream. It was probably a mix of a nightmare and a fever dream. A fever nightmare. He chuckled to himself after thinking about a "fever nightmare". He dragged himself through the house— which was incredibly trashed due to his parents constantly drinking and eating fast food— and left without even thinking about the fact he forgot his folder with homework. He just needed to leave that house. Seo is only 14, he can't move out for 4 years. He wanted to leave everyday, just to leave this awful place.

"Hey! Seo! You're late! Or, almost at least!" A random female voice shouted. Seo looked around to find this voice, and saw his best friend, Lillian. She was waving him over to the front door.

"Why so bummed?!" She asked while playfully punching him in the shoulder. He hadn't told Lillian how awful his personal life was, even though they had been friends since 2nd grade.

"Just a bad day" He replied, exhausted and as if he was fed up with life.

"Yeah, bad days suck. I hate that some people who live in abusive households are forced to have to have bad days everyday! So glad both me and you have good families!" Lillian said enthusiastically. She was talking so fast, it seemed as if her mouth was faster than her brain.

"Lilly, did you take your ADHD meds today?" Seo asked with a soft yet concerned smile.

"Yeah! Well, no, but maybe! But yeah no. I don't need them anyway!" Lilly said boldly while having a proud look on her face. She looked around and saw the lockers and then sprinted towards hers. It was right next to Seo's. She put her things in her locker very fast and aggressively and then hopped impatiently next to Seo, waiting for him to put his stuff in his locker.

"Lilly, the doctors prescribed you medications for a reason! You should take them!"Seo said worriedly. She just rolled her eyes and kept bouncing. The bell rang and Lilly quickly bounced to her class, leaving Seo behind.
