I overheard Ava's alarm going off for pretty much an hour, it is driving me crazy! So, I got up, aggressively threw the covers off of me and walked out of my room and into Ava's. If you're wondering, no, I'm not using my holoform. "AVA!" I shouted, kicking the door open (Hey! That's Garroth's thing!). I heard her yelp from the other side of her bed. "What?" She asked, startled. "Do you even remember the reason you have the alarms on your phone?" I asked.

She was about to reply until her phone started ringing. Ava hopped on her bed, picked up the phone, and held it up to her ear as she answered the call. Meanwhile, I left the room. I knew what today was; it is trash day and her job interview. As Ava walked out of her room, still talking to whoever is on the other side of the phone. "Yes, I know. I normally sleep in, but I've got a job interview today. ...I just said I have a job interview; I'm not interested in going to an anime convention on such a stressful day. ...I don't care if it's just down the street! ...Lorelai, I know I'm boring, but you're annoying so we're even. ...Nothing, nothing. I was just... talking to my cat. Hehe. ...I'm hanging up now. Bye!" Ava said over to Lorelai as I took the trash bag out of the bin, tied the opening, and put in a new trash bag.

She groaned, "It's too early to deal with life!" She exclaimed in annoyance as I went into my room to get my headphone and put one side over one of my audio receptors, playing music and listening to my surroundings. I walked back out and saw Ava give Johnny a slice of pizza? "What in the..." I said out loud, giving her a confused look. "Look, I ran out of Yum-Yum's for him. I just lucky that my job interview is at the grocery store." She informed, muttering the last sentence to herself. "Yeah, but still though..." I said as she pulled out her phone to check the time. She gasped. "Okay, now I really get moving! Uh..." she quickly said, then started talking to Johnny, trying to convince him to eat it.

I heard the door open, and close. That's when I realized that I forgot to remind her about trash day. I activated my holoform as I walked towards the door as I snatched the trash bags, just in case someone else was out there. I opened the door and saw Ava and Jake in the hallway, and Ava was about to walking into the elevator. "Ava! I forgot to mention it was trash day!" I yelled out to her. I watched her run out like Wolfy from SDIS (Seven Days In Sally's, A.K.A. that universe's version of FNAF). "Sorry, trash, I'm busy!" Ava shouted out to him as she took the garbage bags from my hands and ran off back into the elevator. "Bye, Ava!" I exclaimed, waving to her. "Bye, C/n, and remember what to do?" She questioned, poking her head out the door. "Yes." I confirmed. "Okay, bye now!" She said, and with that, the elevator doors closed, and I closed Ava's apartment door.

I deactivated my holoform as I entered my room, sitting on my bed. I yawned into my servo and noticed that little carving I put on it.

---Flashback---

Fire. Darkness. Fear. Explosions. Screams. Yells. Begging. So much was happening. I pulled myself closer to my Sire as he ran over to the escape pods for the Sparklings, tears falling down my face plate. "We don't have much time." He muttered before turning to other soldiers. "Keep them out until they are finally launched!" He ordered, running deeper into the facility. "Sire... I'm scared..." I whimpered, flinching at the slightest sound of an explosion, loud and/or faint.

"Hey, hey, it's okay, it'll be fine." He shushed, trying to calm me down as we arrived at the room with sparkling pods. "Hey, I got an idea." He said as he sat me down and grabbed my d/s (Dominant servo) and carefully carved an 'X' and put it in a circle. He then did the same thing on his right servo. "There. That way, if we were to ever reunite, you will know that it's me and I will know that it's you." He explained, gesturing to himself and then to me. I lounged forward in the biggest hug I can muster.

(Time-skip)

'I remember that day' I thought to myself as I traced over the Autobot symbol on my chassis. I remember that he saw all the other pods explode, but we made optic-contact before I headed out of orbit. He knows that I'm still alive, but just... lost. I sighed as I got off of my bed and transformed into vehicle-mode and slept like that; an old habit dies hard, as the humans would say.
