I had Marlon's bow, Violet had her pistol and cleaver, Louis had a chair leg named 'Chairels', Ruby had her knife, Aasim had his bow, AJ had his gun, and James had his dual knives.
"Who are you!?" I asked in a frantic manner. "The government," He responded calmly, "We're collecting people because we believe we've found the cure for these monsters known as walkers." We all looked at him in shock at what he said. A cure!!! No way! There's just no way! Everyone was staring at me wanting to know what to do. I turn to Violet and nod, she and everyone else let their guards down. "We have five other people and a dog we need to get," I say, my voice calm and firm. The government man smiled a little, "Lead the way."
As we were walking violet grabbed my hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze, "Are you sure we can trust them?" Violet asked, voice full of curiosity and suspicion. "Of course not," I replied, "If they stab us in the back we'll get Rosie to maul their faces." I responded In a joking manner. She smiled at me and laughed. The sound of her laugh brought me to heaven, it was so angelic. She looked so beautiful at this moment, the forest behind us complemented her eyes tremendously. I remembered our first kiss, it was the cheesy romantic type of kiss. We were on the bell tower, making up constellations, and then she spoke in a low tone, expressing how happy she was that I decided to come back after the Marlon situation. After she explained her gratitude to me, I told her how I truly felt about her. Then, I kissed her. It was my first kiss, the feeling was unexplainable. It was like floating on a cloud, it was perfect. When we kissed I could tell that she was my person. My soulmate. The one I want to spend the rest of my life with.
VIolet grabbed my attention when we neared the school. "Wait here," I sternly told the man. He nodded in an understanding way. Me and Violet entered the school looking for Omar, Javi, Kate, Gabe, Christa and Rosie. "You go look for Omar, Rosie and Kate and I'll look for Javi, Gabe and Christa," I ordered. She nodded. I took in the looks of the school, the burned down dorms, the picnic tables, the flag pole with an Ericsons t-shirt blowing in the wind. The main building. That's where I went first. I found Gabe and Javi messing around withLouis' piano. "BOO!" I spoke suddenly, scaring them. "Jeez Clem, a little warning before you give us a heart attack!" Gabe exclaimed. Javi just laughed. "C'mon love birds lets go," Javi joked. None of them knew about me and Violet. I wanted to tell them but I didn't want to hurt their feelings. I knew that Gabe had like the fattest crush on me so I wanted to let him down slowly. As we were walking out I saw Christa getting settled into her room. "Hey Christa!," I yelled, "Follow us!" She did as she was told and followed us. "Where are we going?" she questioned. "I'll explain later," I muttered.
As we were entering the main hangout place I saw Vi walking with Omar, Kate and Rosie. Vi ran up to me and kissed me. Gabe, Javi and Kate's jaws dropped. The kiss was short but passionate. I saw Gabe get visibly angry, but before he could do anything Javi told him something that seemed to calm him down. That was short lived because Violet grabbed my waist and whispered loud enough for just me and Gabe to hear, "Lets go my love." Violet knew how jealous Gabe was. She hated the fact that Gabe had a huge crush on me. She made him jealous every chance she got. It was kinda funny. I could tell Gabe was furious by the way he loudly stomped behind us. As we approached the gate we saw Louis telling corny jokes to the government man. After explaining everything to Javi, Kate, Omar and a furious Gabe, we talked with the officer about the cure and we got acquainted with him. Apparently his name was Damion Gunner, he's been working with scientists on a cure since this all started. After conversing we decided to head to the community where we would be staying, to start the first day of our new lives.
