it's Been about Almost the Whole Day after that Fiasco With Kathie and her Familia.

now we're Back 'Home' in our Dorm.. Me and I Belladeal Both in Bed getting ready to Fall asleep, I Got My Sleepwear on as well as She does with Hers...

Before We both get some Shut-eye.. I Start talkin' to her.

Me: "hey... Hun?"

Belladeal: "Hm? Yes, is.. Everything Alright?"

Me: "Not exactly, but it ain't Notin bad, just.. something i need-a tell ya."

Belladeal: "What is it?"

she Sits up and Comed close beside me.

Me: *inhale*.... *sigh*... "y'know how, Kathie's Mom; Thorelle. was, Whispering something into my ear, and i did Back?"

Belladeal, looks like what I'm talking about is a bit Sketchy.

Belladeal: "Y-yes... Is this about what she Said?"

Me: "Yeah... and Also, a Partial Promise.. not Until you put your Thoughts into it at least."

Belladeal: "What, do you mean?"

Me: ... "She".... "Wanted Me, to become Kathie's New Father. Adoptive, Father..."

Belladeal is Of course Shocked, and She leans Back away from me a bit as Her eyes go wide in Suprisal.

Belladeal: "Wait, Why Would She-"

Me: "And She wanted you to Become her New Mother Aswell."

Belladeal Blushes a bit at the thought of Being a Mother, then she snaps out of it.

Belladeal: "But Why Would She, Just.. Willingly Give up her own Daughter, and Besides I know.. Nothing, on how to be a, Proper Mom anyways... even with someone who's Already a Teenager.."

Me: "Because Kathie Isn't Safe with her Father... She Hasn't been for her entire, Life, i presume."
I look at her as she Looks a bit more Worried Then Skeptical.

Me: "to repeat her Words; 'I Can't protect her now.. please, take Care of Her, I won't Stand to see her Father hurt her Again.. and i Can only Take so Much before i Break', i already knew what she meant by all of That... Ever she was a Child she's Been Abused by her Father, and her Mother Fell victim to his Actions trying to Protect her.. and she still had too Even now... and i think She, Can't go on as a Mother.. Not with her Current State.."

Belladeal thinks about it, her Ears and Face Showing how Saddened she is, and also Worried for Thorelle.. then she Looks up in surprise again like she Figured something else.

Me: "So... She Wants us-"
Belladeal: "To Take care of her like we were Her parents... Because she can't be a Mother anymore.."

Me: "Yup." . . . "That's, It"

Silence Lingers the room for a good 5 seconds before Belladeal Speaks.

Belladeal: "I'll Do it.."
I React Immediately at her Words and Look at her with my own Suprise.

Me: "wait... Really?"

Belladeal: "Yes... I'll Form a Report on her Father so he can Get Put in Prison.. and i Know Thorelle Still won't be able to Take Care of her, Finantually, and Mentally. it'll be Too Much on her.. Not Unless she Has a Long Break from Him."

Me: "hm.... Ye ain't wrong.. She'll, most likely have to have Therapy for how Much she Had to go through. Most likely taking a majority of the 'Hits'.

Me: "Well... I guess we gotta Get some Adoption Papers Then."-
Belladeal: "Hm-!?"
She Squeeks a Bit in Suprise and is Blushing a good Bit, as she Looks up at me Shocked a bit.

Me: "Hey.... The sooner we Do, Have her under our Wings. the Sooner her 'Father' will be in Prison, With Kathie Safe, and Not- Alone.."

Belladeal: "I.. Suppose you are Right, But are you Sure We're.. Ready? For this?"

Me: "Well it's Definitely Better than Going through the Entire, Process, of having a Kid Biologically-"
Belladeal Squeeks Again but in Suprise and Embarrassment at the Thought of Really, Starting a Family through Normal Means.

Me: "and Besides, we Could also do this as a Practice Run of sorts to Handle and Raise a Kid of Our Own; Sure, it May not be Starting off with someone as Young as an Infant. But it's a Start of Something."

I stay silent for another good bit before Reverting back to my Normal Self

"And if we'll be able to Raise and Handle a Teenager I'm Pretty sure we'll be able to handle a Child,"

I Say in a Joking Like tone Even though I do Mean it, and this Causes Belladeal to Scoff at Me and Smile A Bit.

Belladeal: "Really? I'm Pretty sure Having a Teenager at the Start would be Much easier Then a Infant.. I Have seen Mothers and Fathers of Both Ake-ule and Human Species,"
["Ake-Lue" is the Species of Belladeal's People]
"And i Know, for Sure. it Will be Harder taking care of a Toddler then a Teenager."

I silently snort a bit before Talking Again,
Me: "Yeah I Fuckin' Know. Trust me, I've seen MY, Fair share of Chaotic Toddler's, You Ain't alone on That one"

"But one question is: How Are we going to get those Adoption Papers? I Don't exactly Know Ya'lls Civilization as Well as you so, I'm Kinda in the Dark 'ere."

Belladeal: "Well i know For a Fact since the Humans First Arrived Here and Basically Conquered this Station Partly, still Leaving Power to us. We have been implementing their Laws over here, so i guess Just Normally how you Would Get them when you were Back working with Lynx."

Me: .. "Ain't That Fucking, Neat."

"Well, I Guess I know what We'll Be Doin Tomorrow.. But somebody's Gonna Have to Tell her that she, Can't Exactly Be with her Family Anymore. Maybe Instead of Having Us Adopt Kathie First then Put her Father in Prison, Why Don't we Get the Old-Bastard in Jail First, Then, Adopt Kathie.. It'll Be easier on her mind in terms of Understanding... But for her mother... You might Actually have to have someone tell her that, Her Mother won't be. Able to Continue Raising her..."

we both look at each other with Slightly Saddened Looks as we both know how Hard it'll be on her, Belladeal brings her Knees Up, and Puts her Chin on them as She's Still Underneath the Covers. I Get Behind her and Position myself So her Back is against my Chest as we Both Sit Up.

"It will be Hard on her, but..."

Belladeal: "It's the Best way to Handle things so it's not all placed on her at once."

She Lowers Her knees Down and Sits Up against my Chest, i wrap My arms Around her Waist, and looks up at me, I Bring my Head Down a bit and She Closes her Eyes as I kiss her Head, Before opening them Again as I lift my head up from her Head and Hold her Closer, she Look down a bit and I Menurver Ourselves so we're Laying Down on our Sides, with me Behind her holding her.

No Further Words are Spoken as we already Know what to do..
And We'll try to Be the Best Damn Parents that Girl will ever Have, and I Will do my Duty as a Father, and Keeping my Promise. To Make sure she Isn't Harmed by her Father, and She is Safe in My Care, Now, aswell as Belladeal's.
