Prologue: The Start Of Posthena

I'm making a few chapters that are prologues so you know how and why Athena and Poseidon got married and had... kids

I also made the ship name and yes, I know it sucks. I made it on the spot and its giving horrible and that's messed up

And yes, I know Poseidon already has a wife and a kid(s) with her, but let's just pretend she doesn't exist in Poseidon's love life.

Athena POV

I just can't believe it.

I am head over heels for the one and only Poseidon.

What did I do to deserve this Aphrodite?

You couldn't have made me fall in love with another god?

Why Poseidon out of all the other Olympians?

And the worst part.

He likes me too.

UGH!

And it's not that we both like each other.

WE LOVE EACH OTHER!

And we're actually dating.

Like since when did we start dating?

HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!

Poseidon POV

OK, today is the day.

I'm going to propose to my beautiful girlfriend.

Athena.

(Yuck. I think I'm aboout to puke)

How did she become my girlfriend you ask?

Well, it all happened on a dark and stormy evening.

And Zeus was mad.

~~~Flash Back~~~~

"What do you mean you can't find my daughter?" Zeus yelled

Zeus's servant was shaking so hard I thought he might be having a godly seizure. (those are very painful. Even for a god like me)

I-Is he whimpering?

HA

I would have never thought to whimper in front of my brother.

That makes you look weak.

"I-I don't know Sire" the servant trembled"I looked everywhere".

Zeus definitely did not look happy.

Why?

Why?

Why did Zeus have to look at me for help?

I looked  Zeus straight In the eye"Yes brother?".

He looked at me back"Can you find my dear Athena?".

I stared at him blankly.

Like I'm going to go and find my rival.

"Like I'm going to go and find my rival," I said aloud

Oops.

I guess that pissed Zeus off.

"YOU ARE GOING TO FIND MY DAUGHTER AND BRING HER BACK TO ME" Zeus's voice boomed

Since when did he care about Athena?

Since when was she his favorite child?

"Since when did you care about Athena?"

"Since when was she your favorite child?"

Again with saying my thoughts out loud.

The next thing I knew a shock of lightning hit me and I was almost burnt to a crisp if I wasn't a god.

"Ok Ok, I'll look for your precious daughter," I said

After a while of looking, I heard feet shuffling in godone's apartment. 

I looked to see whose apartment it was, and It was Athena's.

I knocked on the door, no one said anything.

I twisted the door knob and saw that the door was unlocked.

I opened the door and saw the most beautiful bird ever.

"Um... Athena?" I said

Athena took her eyes off the majestic bird "Yes Poseidon?".

I blinked a few times before answering" Um... Zeus is looking for you".

She stepped closer to me" Can you take Marie for me while I change?".

I looked at her confused.

She trusted me not to steal, take, or kill her bird.

Actually, the bird was an owl, it was a golden owl.

"You're actually trusting me to watch your bird?" I  asked.

She looked at me annoyed"No I'm not trusting you, I just need to change".

"Um, yea sure. I'll watch your bird".

"It's not a bird, It's an owl" she scolded

Aren't owls a type of bird?

Who cares?

Anyway after that me and Athena started hanging out and we started dating.

I just hope she says yes.
