Ch. 2

Emily's POV

Once Trevor and I arrived to the gates of hell, we hugged goodbye and went our separate ways, mine being my locker. As I retrieved all the books I needed for my first classes I saw my two best friends running towards me, Dom and Lia.

"EMILY" they screamed as they tackled me with hugs.

"Hey guys, I'd really like to make it to my first class breathing normally" I managed to speak out due to the pressure of those "hugs".

They gave me apologetic looks and we all laughed. "So how was your guy's summer?" I asked closing my locker and facing them.

"It was LIT" Dom yelled, classic Dom for you right there.

"Nothing really just chilled in my room" Lia said as she shrugged. "You were not alone my friend" I said as I wrapped around her arm and started walking with Dom's arm around my shoulder.

We made small talk until the bell rang signaling we should get to class. We said our goodbyes and I walked to my first class, math.

As I walked, the new freshmen whistled, cat called, and winked at me, ugh. Sometimes I wish I wasn't "blessed" with a nice body. This made me really uncomfortable. So I began to speed walk. But speed walking, being the small, clumsy person I am, made me trip and land onto someone.

Kian's POV

Jc and I met by his locker once I got to school, I was actually not late today. My locker was just a few down so I had already grabbed my stuff before the bell rang.

"WHAT IS UP MY BOYS" our friend Dom yelled as he approached us with open arms. "DOM" Jc and I said as we all hugged and did our handshake.
"Yo did you hear about friday? Brayden is throwing some huge ass party" Dom explained while pointing at us. "You fuckers down?" I looked over at Jc with a smirk and back at Dom. "You bet yo-"

"Gentlemen start heading toward class this instant!" Mrs.Harris yelled. She does not like me at all, but same goes to her. I rolled my eyes and I started walking towards my class, along with Jc and Dom.

"hey, we should-" suddenly someone fell onto me. A girl, and thanks to my fast reflexes I grabbed her waist in time.

She looked up, it was Emily

I've known Emily for a good time, we're those friends that don't talk much but when we do we talk about everything and anything, literally, anything. Like cheese for example.

"This is a weird way to see each other again" we both lightly laughed as my hands still rested on her hips and my eyes glued onto hers. Our little moment was interrupted by a cough behind Emily.

"What's going on?" Dom asked. I quickly detached myself from her and scratched the back of my head, "Noth-" I began as Emily cut in, "Dom? You know Kian?" So Im guessing they know each other?

"Yeah.. Summer was lit because of these two" he said patting Jc's and my shoulder. "Hell yeah it was!" Jc added. The boys and I looked at each other remembering those memories completely forgetting Emily was still standing in front of me.

"Well I'm gonna get to class.." She said starting to walk away but stopped and looked back, "oh and thanks kian for the um.. catch" she chuckled and walked away.

I never really noticed how beautiful she was, physically and personality wise. Hmm wow.

My thoughts were interrupted by Jc, "ooo does little kian have a little crush?" I punched his arm and we laughed but Dom didn't look too happy.
